I am 60 so I'm a long way from 18 and happen to hail from your home state although I have been down here working for the last 7 years.If your serious about Florida real estate I may be able to tip you to some ocean front properties that have excellent rental value and very nice investment potential as everything in Florida is for sale, but 30k won't buy you a decent car never mind a condo with any value, but I can find plenty of ocean front properties that will rent for there mortgage value and currently are undervalued on the market by 50%. That is ocean front previously valued at a million now available for less than 500k.Send me a pm and I'd send you some links.
