Look at Marquette's non-conference schedule. Who did they beat? Let's see, they played Duke... FAIL, they played Gonzaga... FAIL, they played Wisconsin... FAIL, they played Vanderbilt... FAIL. That leaves their best two non conference wins at Bucknell and perhaps the Milwaukee Panthers (who they beat by 3).
Despite having Larry Drew at PG, UNC still had a couple of nice non-conference wins... Kentucky... @Rutgers by 33...
Fast forward to present: With Kendall Marshall at PG UNC is now 16-2 (Both losses to Duke). Their big men Tyler Zeller and John Henson are playing their absolute best basketball of the year. Harrison Barnes has rapidly evolved into one of the countries best players and a premier 3 point shooter. So who is going to contain the duo of Henson 6'10 and Zeller 7'0? WVU leading rebounders are 6'6 Jae Crowder and 6'7 Jimmy Butler. UNC is going to hammer the boards and will be feeding the post every possession. With Kendall Marshall's ball control and double digit assist games coming left and right... UNC will pull away and get Marquette into foul trouble.
I like UNC -4

First play of the NCAA tournament for me.

maybe the same kind of people that miami, clemson, duke, washington, and long island used to cover the last 5 games against unc.
not saying i won't be on them, but UNC has looked awful in the last 5 games if you've watched them. (yes, i think they looked bad against wash). any analysis that doesn't break that down or give a reason for why that will reverse is not good.
since they do somehow find ways to win, i think unc ml parlay with someone is much better play.

I agree, but I believe that UNC was supposed to have an advantage over UW as well in the rebounding department, outside of UW's N'Diaye? I know that they can pull off the "W" but between rebounding and FT %, those are the concerns that I have for this team.
I hope that they win because an OSU/UNC game for a trip to the Final Four would be a match made in heaven for me! GL on your plays!

Do you understand the concept of lines changing? This thread was started at 5:30 PM EST. The line was UNC -4 at both Bookmaker and BetJamacia until 7:58 PM. Man you are just plain stupid, you don't belong in a betting forum

i don't know how anyone can take this guys pick too seriously...he's created 10 threads about how terrible the big east is. whether you agree with him or not go do your own research don't even listen to this guy he's completely biased...and to you woop you may be right on this game, you might be right on the rest of the games, I'm just not interested in tailing someone who is so busy loving one conference and hating another...one of the first things i noticed about sports betting is that liking some teams and disliking others is a recipe for disaster...i will root for certain teams but always try to keep it out of the way when picking sides...i honestly mean no disrespect here just my advice to the readers and maybe even you'll learn a lesson EVENTUALLY (I don't need a PM when UNC wins) picking sides with so much emotion (love/hate)
BOL to you and your picks

Credible or not, it is up to everyone to do their own research.
My last last 15 documented plays here at covers are 10-5... 2 of the losses going against UConn in the Big East tournament. 1-1 on ML parlays in last 2.
I created threads saying the Big East was overrated before the tournament... and sure enough 2 are left. Then I rubbed it in the faces of those who called me a moron.
BOL to all of you...

If you are awaiting my response to that... UNC had a lull in the ACC tournament. They were not playing with the same fire that they previously had been. However you stated... LONG ISLAND and WASHINGTON....
Henson vs. Long Island 28 pts 11 rebounds Zeller vs. Long Island 32 points 9 rebounds
Zeller vs. Washington 23 points 5 rebounds Henson vs. Washington 10 points 10 rebounds
This hardly seems as though they were contained... The problem with UNC is that they don't play defense. They essentially traded buckets with both Long Island and Washington and happened to have the upper hand in the end.
They are a better team than Marquette and have the better offensive club. With the height differential they won't be able to stop them on defense.
I don't think UNC makes it past Ohio State... but I do think that they handle Marquette rather well. Matchups very much favor UNC.

well then, how do you propose UNC is going to stop marquette any more than they didn't stop miami, clemson, duke, liu or washington. is marquette a worse offensive team than miami, clemson or liu?
how do they stop them?
