QUESTIONABLE CALLS MADE BY REFS DURING CRUNCH TIME EVERY FEW GAMES IS GETTING REALLY RIDICULOUS

Absolutely no reason to call timeout. You are going to get fouled and you are a 78% FT shooter. You force yourself to in bounds now and look what happens.

I agree .... but getting a 5 sec count on a throw in with a timeout left is inexcusable.

looking back at it... hamilton would much have rather had brown who has not missed all tournament at the line get the rock in his hands off a set play by barnes.. unfortunately the 5second call changed the long term effect of this TO.

Mistakes were made for Texas to lose....no doubt. But that was the quickest 5 second call ever! I just re-watched the replay of it and on the 5 arm extension from the ref he calls it halfway...what a bunch of bullshit!

But I agree...Hamilton never should've called that timeout to begin with!

texas called timeout before 5 seconds.  refs blew it.

but worst was Texas calling timeout with 12 seconds left.

It just seemed really fast to me. I can't believe the ref didn't give him the timeout. At that part of the game you gotta swallow your whistle and not be an ass of a ref. Take your little johnson self to the scorers table, grab your jacket and go the fuck home and cash your check. Don't dictate the fucking game. Its evident many people are questioning the officiating this year. You could tell by the body language and the discussion topics of the analysts.

To Josephs credit I just pvr'd that play and he was CLEARLY calling timeout before the 5 second count was complete

I had no action on this game btw..

I'm so pissed right now. That false call cost me my parlay. It wasn't 5 seconds.

No shock the ref that made the call is the same ref from the Big East tournament who royally screwed Rutgers against St. Johns.

The 5 second call was correct.  I put a stopwatch to it.  He didn't signal for a timeout until 4.71 seconds.  You can't call time after 4 seconds.

Man, wild finish. Texas execution of timeouts and inbound pass is inexcusable. Because of that alone they desrve to lose, that being said there sure was a lot of contact on that last shot. I'm not a Barnes guy and think he takes this game to his grave.

THERES SO MUCH INCONSISTENCY WITH THE REFS ITS PATHETIC AND I HATE WHEN BROWN NOSING DUMBASS KISS THERE ASS ON TV SAYIN OH THEY ARE SO GREAT. EITHER CALL FOULS AT THE END OF THE GAME OR DONT AT ALL. BUTLER GETS A WEAK BULLSHIT CALL  BUT TEXAS DOESNT GET A CLEAR OVER THE BACK CALL. HAHA THATS THE SAME OLD GEEZER REF THAT SCREWED RUTGERS HES TERRIBLE FUCKIN OLD MAN
