I have lost every college basketball game I bet today, and are just about to lose st. marys and pitt. too. I just can't hit anything today. Uconn, Richmond, BYU, Minny,Ohio ST. the list goes on with sides. Everything I touch, turns to shit. My teams have blown huge leads, and it just seems everytime the other team gets the ball, they drain a three. WTF!!!!! Can anyone share the pain with me, your sob story of the day, if you will. Greatly appreciate it,thx.

I lost 8 of 12 today. I played mostly faves too and the underdogs I played lost. Chasing with bad ML Parlays. I'm guaranteed a few more losses tonight.
Taking a look at the Etrade account to make sure I'm covered for the settle on Monday.

Definitely know how it is bud, had alot of these days recently... today I am actually about even, with tons of bets and parlays still pending. I am minus 14.5 units for the week, and last week was my worst week all yeah, minus 59 units.

Hello I am also a victim of today and throughout the year in basketball. Its just frustrating to bet nowadays. I think we should start a group therapy for people like us. There is definitely a better chance of us making money off that than betting nowadays. I rarely post in covers, but when I looked at this I had to be a part of something. I've noticed than at second halves in basketball if your team is down first half, the second half spread would be equal or higher than the game spread. Its just this year that the spreads are inflated. In the previous years, if a favourite team was down, the half spread would be half the game spread plus a little bit extra. I've also noticed even if your games are winning in the last five minutes the other team would come back cover. The refs would make some bullshit call and help add to your misery. I've come to the conclusion that all sports are rigged. The only way to make money is to think like the books and not bet based on logic of what team is better but by thinking which game most people would bet on the most and betting the other way. Doesn't taking the points or betting favourites. Example would be minnesota plus points today. Logic said take the points only to get screwed in the end. Ohio state can beat purdue by a million points but beat northwestern flukely by one. Ucla up 13 at half end up winning the game by 1 and losing the spread by 2. BYU up 13 at one point in the second half and losing by ten points in the end. Uconn up by ten with 7 mins left in the game and losing the game straight. I can keep going on and on, but at the end of the day all sports are rigged and the only way to make money is to think like books.

I'm glad you could express your thoughts with the rest of us.I't human nature to feel better about ones self when someone else is having the same bad experience, lol. I do not believe for a second though that sports are rigged, I believe vegas has a really good idea of which way the public is going to bet, and that a game will be alot closer then the line that is put out. They know which way the public is going to bet for sure. It's just like life, if there's a gas station in a rural area, and they know that that's the only gas station for a hundred miles. I'll let you guess, what do you think they're going to do with the gas prices? It's the same way with gambling, If you have a team that's 20-1 and against a team that's 4-17 obviously they know people are going to be hammering the team that is 20-1 they over inflate the line. More so with nationaly televised games, the lines are usually dead on. As gamblers we all know this but many times we bet with our heart, rather then the numbers. All gambling is the same. I used to live 15 minutes from foxwoods casino, I read 15 books on how to beat the dealer, with different strategies. I would go 3 or 4 times a week sometimes. I would only bring about 3 or 4 hundred dollars with me at a time and I would no with in the first five hands if that day would be a success. I was able to leave when I wanted, make my days pay, 3 or 4 hundred and leave. The only way to beat the casino or a sports book is to hammer down when you were hot, and leave or pull your money as soon as you've lost a couple. They will take your money everytime over the long hall. If I was up 7 or 8 hundred of the casinos money I would choose my spot and dump 4 of it on a hand, if it won, I would take 6 and put it on a hand. If that one won, I would go home with a huge profit. I would then have 6 more times to go to the casino with 3 or 4 hundred. You don't take the $2,500 back with you the next day. People who go to the casinos, usually live far away from it and are accompanied by friends or family. They're going there to make a day of it, not to break the casino. They usually would lose because they're locked at a table for 9 hours while mom plays nickel slots. Though they were probably up on some runs, they would usually lose it all because they would stay to long. I would sometimes play 5 or 6 hands and head for the hills, with $2,500 of casinos money. The pit boss would say" leaving allready?".. Yup, Bye!!!. That's why I get a kick out of when I hear people say " online casinos are rigged" Yes, this may or may not be true, but if you sit their and play for 12 hours, yes, your probably going to lose. I tend to find you don't get the long runs like you get in a casino. But, if you sit at you computer and play hours on end, come on people your going to lose, it's way to excessible to you. As far as sports betting goes, I know from now on to use my money management skills from my casino days and the old win and pull. If I lose, I lose. I should have pulled my winnings, 2 grand or so, last week and left $500 in my acct. to start a new roll. I got greedy, and when you get greedy, you lose. If you have a quarter, and you have a $1,000 dollars to play on that quarter whether that quarter was heads or tails, do you think your odds increase if you bet 1 dollar at time or if you bet 200 dollars at a time. Yes, you might last longer, but the same result is likely, a loss. For someone to say "I started with $500 and I 'm up 2 units over 6 months. Fuck that!!! Do your homework on a few plays you like, and then pull the trigger. you lose, you lose. You win, pull the money out and enjoy it, leave a little nut to start a new.Take a week or two off." a gamblers money is no ones money" I myself would like to sit down and watch a game with out worrying about covering a fucking spread. I haven't even enjoyed watching sports in quite sometime. That's no fun, I'm a huge baseball fan, and I wasted all of last season on my couch watching games with knots in my stomache, fuck that!!!

It was a terrible day for me as well. Seems like there was a conspiracy out there yesterday that teams that should have covered and could have covered lost. PITT, UCONN, UCLA just to start.
