This play is based of pure trends. Trend play alert I guess we could. OH ST has been a killer betting against this season for us but tonight we catch them in a tough spot. The Buckeyes are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games and better yet off of 7+ days of rest they are 1-10 their last 11 ATS.
Kent St +14 2u
Was going to hit the over hard in this game but due to the fact Floridas D has clamped down in since the Ohio St beating I just cant do it. From reading up on Kent St it appears that have some new additions this season that actually give them a chance to play some quality defense. They added 2 guys in Manns and Nealy that can flat out get after it defensively on the front line. Huge complimant to Greene. As they will now have the opportunities to do some trapping. As you can see holding teams to 65 ppg but more importantly holding teams to a dismal 27% shooting from deep. Better yet 25% away from home. The line could wreak blowout but this is a tough spot for Florida coming off a 3 game road swing then turning around for a big look ahead in Kansas State. I understand Kent State has not played much competition but going into Cleveland St and losing by 3 on a tail end of 4 game trip is pretty impressive. Kent St will be a strong contender in the MAC by the end of the year and I expect a great effort tonight as this is Kent States lone big time conference opponent of the season.
Now onto the big revenge games.
Temple tonight is typically a max unit play for myself. But coming off 5 games away from home and upsetting Maryland on the road I just cant do it in this spot. Too many variables. Temple will control the pace of this game. Gtown on the other hand is the best team in the country right now IMO hands down. I understand all the talk about Duke but this Gtown team is putting together something special and very quietly. Just hitting big shot after big shot. These are the type of games that have killed me over the years of betting taking these home doggies in this situation also but I am going to have to bite. Lets hope Allen and Juan can play big tonight and the role players will fit in nicely. I got away from this last night in the revenge angle in Washington St and learning how important guard play comes to mind watching that game. The big 3 for the Zags combined for what 12 last night? Bouldin is a huge missing piece right now. Anyways Temple is not afraid of these Hoyas and we will get max effort. Limit the 3 ball/runs and they should escape with a resume building win.

Double revenge here for the Xavier throw in the expired clock call from last year and we got a reciepe for a beat down. Butler is a team still trying to find its identity and I think they will find that once conf. play rolls around just like they did last season. I understand Xavier has Wake on deck but as bad as Wake has shown the country I dont expect a look ahead here. Xavier is one tough place to play at and Butler coming off a extered high octane effort against Duke i fully expect them to be falt for this contest. Xavier will play gritty or in you face basketball tonight and expect Howard to once again get in foul trouble often and early. This is going to be fun watching Xavier tonight in a classic beat down game. If Butler keep Xavier in the 60's then we might be in big trouble as Butler just has a knack at winning those type of games but I just dont see it in this one. We also get the X who have excelled on Thursday nights going 18-6-3 the last 27 ST. Oh and we get a Home team that has won 27 straight at home. Should be electric!
