12-11 Thursday +10U

Be back shortly with some plays
Alright.
Appears to be a difficult card tomorrow...Only two games really caught my eye, Akron -4 and Marquette + whatever this line will climb to before tip. And maybe a play on SDSU mL. I like them to win this tourney. NM is fighting for a #2 or #3 seed but if anyone can run with the Lobos besides BYU, it's the Aztecs.
GL tomorrow. ![]()

jlgamlber Notre Dame is probably my only straight bet tomorrow. I would like to put them in parlay but might keep them out.
This is what I am leaning for parlay tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think. I don't know how confident I am in it.
All dogs parlay
Virginia +24
Dayton +9
So Miss +9
20U to win 18U
(This is just a lean, not final play)

I projected this line at WVU -1.5, 142.5. I'm looking at the only meeting between these two back in early January and I believe I was at the bar watching WildCard football weekend when these two played. ND jumped out to an insane lead in the 1H and then WVU started to use a 2-3 Zone and ND started to look like a 5th Grade team but still managed to shoot over 53% from behind the arc, which I believe was a majority of their points. WVU abused them in the paint in the 2H and tied the score late before losing. I think WVU will control the paint and I highly doubt Ebanks will go scoreless again as he did in the first meeting. Butler is clearly the catalyst on this team and I think he helps get the job done for the Mountaineers tomorrow night.
An interesting little bit of info is that the team that wins this BE Tourney is prime fade material once in the Big Dance. I think four of the last five years the team to win this MSG slugfest has been eliminated in the first weekend of the tourney; L'Ville made it to the Elite 8, farthest a tourney winner advanced. I would not be surprised if Marquette won and then became the latest victim of this trend.

jlgamlber I am not good at totals at all. I need to do some more research on Stephen Austin. They have been cashing lately I have noticed on a lot of peoples threads. I don't know much about them lol. I am thinking of playing Notre Dame ML Big tomorrow. We will see what line is though.

Bailout The thing I hate the most about it is that everyone and their mothers are on it. I usually try to stay clear but if it weren't for that...
I like Tennessee to win it in a close game. They learned their lesson at LSU. Coach was stated saying that they will come out aggressive. Pearl also said that the last win over Ole Miss was the toughest win they had in a 71-69 victory on January 16. Things that are keeping me away from this game is the LSU game, Mississippi held them to 6 out of 23 from behind the arch, Miss held them to 35.4% last game, The line is under 2 but yet Tennessee coach is stating everywhere how aggressive they are. Mississippi is well rested. With all of that said. It will be a no play for me but if I was betting with someone elses money I would be with Tennessee.
BOL on whatever you decide ![]()

BDUBB We will hit them hard tomorrow. I can't believe Nova screwed you again buddy. BOL tomorrow
jlgamlber I think Tennessee is the play I just like to stay away from the small lines that are highly favored by people on covers. Here is the article copied and pasted of what Pearl said
Coach Pearl had Tennessee slow things down in its SEC tournament opener with hopes of conserving energy to make a run to the league title game.
That strategy nearly backfired, and Pearl realizes it won't work again.
The 15th-ranked Volunteers look to put a lackluster performance behind them and have a more aggressive attitude when they face Mississippi on Friday in Nashville, Tenn.
Tennessee (24-7) drew the third seed in the East Division, making it the league's only ranked team to compete on the first day of the tournament. That set up the possibility of playing four games in four days, including a quarterfinal matchup with a Rebels team that nearly won in Knoxville two months ago.
Wanting his team to stay fresh for the rest of the tournament, Pearl had the Vols play a defense Thursday against an LSU team that finished the regular season with only two conference wins. While Tennessee played well on defense, the offense never got in gear, finishing with 21 first-half points on 25.9 percent shooting - its worst in any half this season.
Things got slightly better for the Vols after the break and they went on to win 59-49.
"If we would have lost that game I would have put that one on myself," Pearl said. "I'm already putting it on myself that we didn't come out as aggressively as we should have."
The Vols held the held the ball for much of the shot clock and then made sloppy passes trying to get inside, totaling 17 turnovers and making only 4 of 23 shots from beyond the arc.
Pearl acknowledges a repeat of Thursday's performance won't get it done against a rested Mississippi team that grabbed a first-round bye as the West's No. 2 seed
"If we play like that (Friday), we won't advance," Pearl said. "We will get beat. We have to play better to beat Ole Miss."
The Vols had similar offensive woes in their only game of the season against Mississippi - a 71-69 overtime victory on Jan. 16 - shooting 35.4 percent while missing 17 of 23 3-point attempts. Pearl said that was one of his team's toughest wins of the season.
