I wouldn't make this bet the largest of the year if I were you. I know everyone's hatred for Duke forces them to bet against them and try to stick it to them by making unreal sized bets. This is not the night to do so. Wait until the NCAA tournament folks.
I am as big of a Duke fan as you will find, and if you bet Maryland tonight, you are betting less than a coin flip. Don't you think there are better games on the card than this one? I'm not saying to bet Duke or that Maryland can't win, its just that Duke is playing with a purpose, and they know whats at stake. For those who say that Duke has nothing to gain out of tonights game simply doesn't know basketball. Duke has a chance to earn a #1 seed with a win here and saturday against UNC.
We can talk about the home crowd being as fired up as they possibly can, but the crowd can't make the Maryland post players as tall as the four 6'9+ guys that Duke has. Duke killed them on the board last time and will do it again tonight. Expect another huge game from Zoubek. The light has finally clicked for the big guy and he has been playing with so much confidence. BTW, Duke has won the last two games played in front of this feared crowd by 23 points combined. I'm just sayin make this play light boys and girls.
