Anyone know if Gilchrist is coming back for USF?&#xD;&#xA;I am pounding Notre Dame -1 1/2 if he is still out.&#xD;&#xA;Nobody to stop Harangody if that&#x27;s the case.

With the recent departure of guard Justin Leemow, the Bulls are down to eight players on the bench for the game, including only two big men in junior Jarrid Famous and true freshman Toarlyn Fitzpatrick.

More tidbits from USF Game preview&#xD;&#xA;--The Bulls are averaging 67.8 points per game while Notre Dame is scoring 83.5 per outing. &#xD;&#xA;-- USF was picked to finish 14th in the BIG EAST Conference Preseason Poll. Notre Dame was picked No. 8.  (That&#x27;s with their FULL roster)&#xD;&#xA;-- After USF&#x27;s seven guards combined for just 29 points against Louisville, the Bulls will need junior Dominique Jones to quickly rebound from his 5-point, 3-rebound night.&#xD;&#xA;-- USF&#x2019;s next two games are against top 10 teams in No. 7 Syracuse and No. 8 West Virginia. &#xD;&#xA;All this news seems to favor ND, which kind of scares me with the line only at 1 1/2.  I think this will climb to 3 or 3 1/2 tomorrow.

I liked Notre Dame at first glance as well. However this Notre Dame has played only one true road game and lost. Notre Dame also lost at home to Loyola Marymount. This is not a great Notre Dame team. Looks like a stay away game to me.

I have no idea what is going on here. USF is without their big man, another player quit the team, they dress EIGHT scholarship guys against a team that likes to play fast.

The matchup is just horrible for USF and the line is dropping... Plus the majority of the public HAS to be on ND just because they are ND....

This really scares me, but standing by my play. I'll be tuned to ESPNU at 7 pm!

I could see that cburk. There is just no way I can see USF competing tonight and winning this game without their best player and with a key reserve who ate up minutes who quit this week.

It is not a slam dunk to me for a couple of reasons.

Teams often can rally to overcome the loss of a key player for one game.Not unusual.

Secondly, it may be a mistake to assume that the player who quit was popular with his team.If he was loathed by his teammates, his departure would actually be welcomed by everyone and his minutes gladly taken by happier teammates.

Certainly it would seem like this is an easy game...but nothing is as easy as it seems.

If you think about it,Vegas new about the injuries and such but still open the line at -1.5 for ND, while the betting public think it s/b atleast 5-7, so everyone stops and says whats up that is a fishy line, I now leaning SoFlor, but the reversed happened, bettors came in hard on ND, if vegas ramps the line up, that w/b sure to track attention and that they made in error in judgment, so instead, they drop it, make it look like a RLM catch some So Flo money and try to get back to even if ND covers.

Just a thought.

ND doesn&#x27;t play defense and this is only their 2nd road game.  USF plays very good defense and if they can make ND take tough shots all night they could easily win.  Gilchrist has been out for a while so I&#x27;d have to think they are starting to gel better without him.  I think it&#x27;s a no play for me.

&#xD;&#xA;Good points.  I&#x27;ve seen this theory before I just don&#x27;t understand why they wouldn&#x27;t set the line higher to begin with instead of having to move it around and risk getting middled.
