I&#x27;ve heard enough of UK fans. Wall this. Wall that.Wall is a great player. A GREAT player.But UK is not a great basketball team and won&#x27;t be in the NCAA Championship game in 2010.They have played one true road game. Indiana. The Uconn win in MSG was a quality win.They played UNC without 4 starters from a championship team at home.Who else have they played??The other teams in the SEC have 2 teams in the top 25. Ten and Ole Miss. They only play Ten on the road. They will go the entire season without playing anyone in the top 10 unless UNC finishes there and they are not that great and played them at home. Don&#x27;t get me wrong. Kentucky is much much improved and back in the national picture. But a championship team?? HA!This is a handicapping website. Save your money and pound away against UK in the Final 4. It will make you much more than 10 regular season games.EASIEST $$$$$$$ ALL NCAA HOOPS SEASON!!!AGAINST UK IN THE FINAL 4 GAME.

I should probably offer some actual basketball insight.

The Wildcats feature 3 freshmen and a veteran big man in Patterson. These freshmen are used to playing 20-25 games. This season will feature 30-35 games before March Madness. They will hit the wall. Pardon the pun.

Calipari has never won a championship. His team choked in his last attempt. His next championship will be his 1st.

Besides Carmelo Anthony, what other freshman has lead his team to a title in the last 10 years???

For handicapping sake bet AGAINST UK in the Final 4. They will be favored and will get beat.

I actually agree....Theres gonna be some money to be made fading UK in SEC play.They start off with a light schedule (as light as you can get in the SEC). Once February rolls along (if not earlier) keep your eye out for the fade.

The SEC sucks in hoops. Including UK there are only 3 teams ranked in the Top 25 in the AP poll. Only 2 in the coaches poll. Fla has some votes but is outside the top 25 in both polls.

They do play at Fla in their 2nd SEC game o ESPN. Might be a play against game depending on the spread.

Yeah, I agree with Chaney.  How do you call a team overrated, and then state that they&#x27;ll lose in the Final Four?  IMO, making the Final Four is a pretty damn good year in itself.  There is only one team that can win it all.

kentucky is great...but realize they have played a lot in the confines of kentucky....like the last month and a half....opposition will be getting value when they go on the road and betting against them will be very profitable....

Kentucky won&#x27;t win the NCAA Title, wow really going out on a limb.  Odds are against any team winning the whole thing, no shocker there.&#xD;&#xA;OK, facts only here:  Kentucky has beat two top 10 teams, UCONN (#10) in NYC,  and UNC (#9) in Lexington.  How many teams have two top ten wins under their belt, I don&#x27;t know but I bet not too many.&#xD;&#xA;What Kentucky has going for them is that they are playing much better than they were several weeks ago.  They also have what&#x27;s widely recognized as the "highest ceiling" due to talented young guys, HOWEVER what they have going against them is that exact same thing:  outside of Patrick Patterson all their talented guys are very young.&#xD;&#xA;Kentucky has been on hard times for a few years, you&#x27;ll have to just forgive their fans for being excited.  I agree with you that they have an uphill battle to win the title, but they have as good of a shot as anyone.

I mean, anyone who is saying they WILL win the title is really reaching but to say they could win it is not. College basketball just isn't that strong this year. Not a whole lot of teams to put fear in your eyes. The team has improved immensely in the past 3 weeks or so. Early in the year I was saying they weren't even top 15 and now without a doubt it's a top 3 team.

If you're using "who have they played" as a basis, then Kansas is the team you should be complaining about to this point. Their hardest road game was @UCLA which is no harder than @Indiana and hardest game to this point is either Cal or Michigan.

Their hardest OOC is @Tennessee. Cal made it to the Final 4 coming out of the CUSA with a freshman PG, I don't see how he absolutely couldn't do the same at Kentucky.

You say Kentucky is not a great team, you are wrong. I'm not saying they'll make the Final Four, way too hard to say that but they absolutely have a shot. About as good as anyone else.

Vegas-We will file this thread....and I&#x27;m not a UK fan by any means, but please, tell us who IS going to win the National Championship?  I don&#x27;t think it&#x27;s anything you can predict at this point in the season without luck.  There are 353 teams in this country battling to make it to the tournament....and once they are there, it&#x27;s cut throat.And while you&#x27;re telling us who&#x27;s going to win it all, what other two teams will be in the final four with them and Kentucky?

Before you twist my original post all around please read it again.

I said UK will not even make the Championship game. And with their cupcake schedule they will have 1 or 2 losses at the most and likely be the overall #1 seed and America's favorite so saying now they won't be there is not as obvious as you guys think it is.

A top seed is pretty much a cakewalk to the Sweet 16. Then that game and Elite 8 games would be against the likes of a Carolina or Uconn type of talent. Could be trouble who knows.

The one thing I do know FOR SURE is matched up against another #1 seed which WILL happen in a Final 4 game and Kentucky fans will be crying the blues.

Overrated as far as all the hype. NOT a legitimate contender to win it all. And excellent fade material against a # 1 seed when they will be favored.

Enjoy your 32-0, 31-1,or 30-2 record. Hop on the bandwagon. Blow out lesser talented teams. Then make all kinds of excuses when you don't see UK in the Championship Game.

I will be collecting $$$$$ on the fade.

I didn&#x27;t mean to say we WILL win the national championship, thats a hard thing to predict in december. We have a really young team but thay have matured a lot since the beginning of the year and I think that they will only continue to get better. Only true road game we have played has been Indiana so it will be interesting to see how these young guys react to a tough environment. And as far as the final four goes once you get to that point anything could happen but I respect your opinion Vegas and I think if UK gets there that arena will be filled with blue and I think we would be tough to beat.

No real shock with South Carolina beating them.

We are nearing the end of a high school schedule as far as number of games go and the freshmen will struggle here in the next few weeks. 30-40 games with UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS will take a toll on any 19 year old.

With the soft schedule they will still win and get a #1 seed then it's fade away once they meet some real talent.

Pretty much right on the track I thought they would be on right now. And the SEC is actually a little worse than I thought.

One of my favorite nights this year will be watching these cocky bastards walking off the floor after losing a tournament game. Hopefully it will be in the Final 4 against another #1 team so I can make a bundle of cash to go along with it.

Do you mean that you will win bacause they don&#x27;t cover the point spread? Because at this point and time there is no real clear cut favorite like last year&#x27;s North Carolina. As far as I&#x27;m concerned they have a better chance than most teams. I&#x27;d say they&#x27;re in a group of about maybe 5 to 10 teams that have a chance to win the title. I like those odds anytime and I know that I wouldn&#x27;t bet against them just because they&#x27;re better than whoever your favorite team is. In gambling sometimes you need to realize instead of hating a team and betting against them, you need to join them and bet with them. Come on man, a Vegas Veteran should know that!!!
