Take the Vols with no hesitation to cover the 25.5

The ECU team has shown ZERO effort thus far and was beaten by Campell.  I've watched them play every game this season and they will get flat run off the court at 3:30 EST today.

Tenn. averages 54.5% from the floor and 49.35% from 3's.

ECU averages 40.5% from the floor and 21.3% from 3's.

Combine that with complete lack of effort and enthusiasm on the players part for the Pirates and you should be able to place your bet with confidence.  No hesitation.  Complete mismatch and Vegas has this line wrong. 

LuDawg went 16-2 last year capping ECU basketball.  Not bragging, just giving some insight.   

How many points will east carolina score?

Can Tennessee score 100 or more?

That brings up a good point.  Too bad we can't have individual team forums where people post who strictly watch and follow those teams.  That way we could all leverage the knowledge of the individuals who are close to the programs.

Myth81, it wouldn't matter if this game was played in the dining hall on the campus at ECU.  ECU getting only 25.5 is absurd. 

I like the Vols by 50.

LuDawg-Couldnt agree with you more..I live here in Greenville and am a "Pirate"  but regardless, they will not cover this big #..I am also thinking about taking -14 in the 1H.  Also, I know it is in a different forum, but ECU will not cover 12.5 this week-end imho...It has been rising all week..with the short week, I am gonna take UAB (probably will buy it up to 2 td's if possibel....Anyway, taking Tenn.  i am also on Georgia St -1, GTech-5, and Depaul +8.  GL

are they really that bad??? will the Vols push for a huge win?

The Campbell Camels took it to the Pirates earlier this week playing nearly the entire game without someone over 6'6". 

The Pirates are slow and lazy inside.

Tennessee starts 4 seniors and 5 starters from 2008.  All 5 can knock down the trey.  They start basically 3 guards and will press from the get go. 

ECU's Chad Wynn and Darius Morrow are going to get their asses handed to them in about an hour. 

ECU's lone bright spot is Brock Young, arguably the best point guard in the state of North Carolina.  There's not much to speak of after him.

I think TN scores 90 in this game.  We have alot of bodies to throw at ECU and will run and gun and press ECU.  I was at the game Tuesday when we were up 80 on UNC-Asheville.  Our defense was unreal in that game, which is a change from last year.  I'm not convinced yet that it will hold up every game, but I believe the scoring will be there to get over 90.
