Thursday Thoughts:

Miami -11 vs Tulane - Miami lost McClinton who was a HUGE scorer!  But they have some good young guards coming in and they've scored at will in their 1st two games of the year.  Miami has some solid Big guys down low.  Tulane has NO ONE down low, but returning experienced guards.  I would usually take guards over bigs, but I don't think Tulane can hang with Miami in this one.  Miami should be able to shoot alot of free throws if they dominate the paint.

Penn State -11 vs UNC-Wilmington - UNCW is a horrible team.  PSU has some talent they have to replace as NIT Champions but they should be able to do that.  UNCW will struggle to get to 60 in this game and I think PSU can get to 75+.

Ole Miss -9 vs Indiana - Indiana is still trying to become respectable.  They have a good coach, but that is about it.  They have no one who can play down low.  Ole Miss has 2 great guards returning in White and Warren.  They have a freshman shot blocking phenom as well.  He had 5 blocks in 18 mins and 4 blocks in 14 mins so far this year.  Also, Polynice is like a newcomer.  He played 1 game last year before injury, his stats from the last game was - 17 pts, 8 rbs, 7 assist, 4 steals!!!  This should be a blowout in the 80+ to 65 range.

Richmond -5 at William & Mary - Richmond has a solid team with 4 returning starters PLUS the return of their Center who missed last year.  2 years ago he was their top scorer and rebounder.  W&M is returning 3 starters from a horrible team last year.

EKU +15 at Pitt - Pitt has NO returning starters from last years team available for this game, the only 1 returning is Dixon and he is out with a foot injury.  EKU returns 4 starters and are a half decent squad that should score around 65 in this game.  If they get there that means Pitt has to get to 80 and I dont see that happening.
