Back for another go around here in what I think is the best forum on this particular site. Look forward to all the regulars returning and hopefully we get some new additions.
Found a totals system last year that worked very well for me. I'm going to try to a better job tracking how it does for sides (or at least SU winners), but it did very well on games with variation of more than 5 1/2 points.
Monday's projections (using last year's numbers):
UNC -15.5 (144.5)
tOSU -16.5 (143)
SYR -11.5 (138.5)
Cal -5.5 (135.5)
...and i'm certainly looking for insight on teams with pace changes due to new systems or players graduating as I have a little bit of a list going.
Pace changes:
UVA-- slower (Tony Bennett Jr. in town)
UNC-- slower (no Ty Lawson)
FIU-- no opinion but Isaiah should like to move a bit I'd think
Wazzu-- faster (former Portland State coach Bone liked uptempo)
TEX-- faster (not as good on defense and we can shoot)
