Word of advice - If you are going to post a thread named "Kentucky is not losing this game" you need a MUCH better reasoning then this. You did nothing more then naming Kentucky's players.

I guess I'm biased because I bleed blue, but I really think the better team wins tonight.  This is a BIG game.

Devon Downey for SC will have 34pts. tonight as the Cocks beat the Wildcats for the second time this year. Biggest game for Cocks in a long time. Will be a sell out for sure. If the cocks win this game they almost assure their place in the NCAA Tourney.

when was liggins and galloway's breakout game?  when they played Vandy when Patterson was out and got destroyed?

... granted Miller had a great game against Tenn though

I am a UK fan as well, bit I do not see how they get it done tonight in Columbia.  SC is playing well, they are at home, and they can score.  UK is a turnover machine, and the guards of SC will put tremendous pressure on the UK backcourt.  Even though the conference sucks this year, it is still hard for teams to win on the road - especially a young UK team playing an uperclassman team like SC.  I think SC makes at least 10 3pters tonight, and wins this game 79 - 70 in relatively easy fashion - The only thing that makes me nervous about SC is their weakness at the FT line.  As a team they shoot in the low 60%s, not a good number going against a team that fouls as much as UK does.  On the flip side, UK shoots FTs at over 78% as a team.  Hopefully, SC keeps UK from going to the line more than 15 times tonight. 
 
In SC's last 5 games, opps have shot 16, 24, 15, 14, 40 FTs against them.  The 40 FTs were in the game at Fla when SC was down late & fouled for the last 4 mins of the game.  In the earlier contest against UK, UK got to shoot 24 FTs, with 16 of those between Meeks & Patterson.  
 
So, as long as the refs keep the whistles silent (UK wants fouls / SC doesnt), and SC can force UK to turn the ball over, as they usually do, I see a SC win here.

Kentucky is an exciting and promising young team.  I liked them a lot better earlier in the season when they were getting little to no respect.
They've become a national fan favorite again since Meeks dropped 50+ a couple weeks back.

That being said they're still a very dangerous team with a very dangerous player in Meeks.  Patterson is the X-factor for the Wildcats.  He can take a huge burden off of Meeks if Kentucky will let him.  They need to get Patterson touches in the post.  Let Meeks work a little off the ball.  If it has to be all Meeks than Kentucky is in trouble at least fifty percent of the time because it's hard to drop fifty game to game.  He needs some help.  

I like S.C. at home.  Downey is an unbelievable talent and tonight I expect his best going against the SEC'S darling point guard in Meeks.  Tonight very well may be Downey's coming out party.  

Should be a dandy.

Galloway broke out in the Florida game.  8 boards, 9 assists, a steal and 6 points in 25 minutes. 

Liggins hasn't really had a breakout game but I think he has played pretty well all year, despite poor shooting.  Downey will be able to create shots for himself against anybody but we will have a better chance to win tonight if Liggins plays more than Porter.  In the last meeting Porter played 7 more minutes than Liggins.  Coach G realizes quickly in the Vandy game that Porter is a liability against good guards, so hopefully Liggins gets big minutes tonight.  Meeks didn't have a great game in the last meeting with SC.. if he catches fire tonight we could win by double digits.

Well, first off Galloway IS NOT PLAYING for UK tonight.  He is not making the trip due to a family emergency, a death in the family I think.
 
Secondly, if any UK player is clicking lately besides Meeks and Patterson it is the freshman Darius Miller not Galloway or Liggins.
 
Next, this may be only the 3rd game I'm playing for UK this year.  They are 4-1 on the road in USCjr's new arena, they have the motive since USCjr won earlier in the conference season, UK is playing better on average right now than USCjr as USCjr has barely scraped by in a couple games, the line of UK +1 is a good number as I see that UK should be -2.

UK is 6-2 ATS in last 8 road games.
USCjr is 5-16-1 ATS in last 22 home games.
Road team is 13-3 ATS in last 16 in this series.
 
+UK has had USCjr on their mind sice USCjr won at Rupp
+UK has been playing better than USCjr lately (except at Vandy when Patrick Patterson didn't play)
+I have line fair value at UK -2 not UK +1 without the trends which look overwhelming!
 
Definately on the Cats tonight, just made up my mind.  I'm not fighting those trends.

UK has a much better chance if Porter doesn't even play in this game. Downing and SC's quick backcourt will eat the TO prone Porter ALIVE. I'm hoping he didn't even make the trip.
