Wash @ Stanford

I'm leaning towards Stanford at home with the line at +1.5 as of right now... for various reasons althought I'm not 100% I'd like to know what everyone thinks and some feedback on info.. Stanford played them tough at their place holding then 25 pts under their average for points on the year a month ago with their better defense... although WASH is a thoroughly better rebounding team Stanford seems to have a edge in this one being a great home team as well to Washington as a mediocre away team.. let me know what you think...

I like Stanford as well however, the Road team has had the upper hand as of late...

Huh?!? Where did you come up with that?  Washington beat Stanford 84-83 in a high scoring game...no where near 25 points below their season average.  No defense was played by either team.

I will say that Washington hasn't won at Stanford in 16 years so you can look it one of two ways: 1) Don't go against the streak, or 2) Washington is due

haha thanks for the correction must have mixed it up with the WAST game earlier this year... 54-53... regardless of which Stanford does have the better defense of the two.. and you make a great point with the home streak.. thanks for the input rf

No problem, Washington has been much better on the road this year than in the past.  Their recent trend has been to lay an egg on Thursday and then come out smoking over the weekend.  If that's the case then they should handle Stanford.  That being said, I wouldn't touch this one with a ten foot pole as I think it could be a close game or a blowout for either team.  Good luck!

Hey rf have you looked at that Dayton game though at all?... after doubling up on RIU at CHAR on thurs night I dont think I can pass this one up either... gimme some input

Definitely liking the Flyers in this one.  Charlotte is just terrible, they won't be able to stop Wright and Johnson.  Dayton is on a mission and the 49ers surely won't be the team to get in the way. 

What I'm really looking at closely is the Over in the Illinois/Purdue game.  I don't care if Hummel plays or not - this one should be into the 130's without a problem.  Even if the teams score at a slower pace it should be stay close which means free throws could put it over at the end.  The only reason I haven't jumped on it yet is that the line seems fishy...it appears to good to be true.

Thoughts on the total number.  I think I'd lean toward the over

imho, wash has a better defense than stanf in just about every category. perception is that bec wash scores so much, they give up a lot, but their 'd' fg % are good, def better than Stanf. i'll be on 'over' as both can score.
also on charlott, as dayton has Xav on Wed & off a road win.

well if wash has the better defense in every category its funny that they give up more points a game... to me that's not a better defense ... so your category stats mean nothing to me...
