I was apoplectic at Martinez in that 12th round.  Too much bravado when dancing was appropriate.

The blood is in the water, and now Julio will be hunting for the knockout from the first bell...Martinez even saluted Julio and all the Mexicans after the fight....They will both be in the best shape of their lives next time around...Should be a good one.

it won't happen sergio martinez has nothing to gain by taking a rematch, he dominated that fight he won easy he just was dumb in the last round, chavez did nothing to deserve a rematch, one good round please what about the first 11 he took off, i mean round 1 was a joke he threw 2 punches

Dont be a hater its just like Chavez/Taylor 2....a freakin PPV bonanza...This fight has to be made, I dont think Maravilla finishes the fight with another minute on the clock..And everyone saw that, plus the two cuts....

Stop it. It's NOTHING like Chavez v Taylor. He didn't land anything the first 35 minutes. Chavez Sr brutalized Taylor prior to that stoppage.

Based on what? Martinez getting cute after completely embarrassing him for 35 minutes? Also, there can't be a rematch. Chavez Jr would DIE if he has to make 160 again. He weighted north of 190 pounds tonight. Think about that for a minute.... 190.

Let's put that into perspective for a minute. That's AT LEAST a 25lb weight advantage. How crazy? Chad Dawson weighed 185 and Andre Ward weighted 176. In short, he would have 10-15 pounds on super middleweights and probably some light heavyweights.

Why isn't people can't admit when they're wrong anymore? The guy you supported clearly isn't as good as the guy who beat him. Your fighter uses every advantage available to make up for what he lacks in skills. He's still a good fighter with a long future. Isn't that enough for you?
