Almagro vs. Robredo

Tommy Robredo enters round 3 coming off back to back wins coming back from 2 sets down to both Sijsling and Monfils.  Tommy in his prime was a top tier clay courter... but recently he has found his stride again winning  Casablanca and beating players such as Dimitrov-Berdych- Wawrinka and the ever dangerous Marc Lopez

Nico Almagro has been battling injuries and hasn't had the clay season he would have hoped. When on song Almagro is one of the better clay courters on tour. He has a top of the line serve and has one of the better 1 handed backhands on tour.

The head to head between the two is 5-0 to Nico and he has a 10-1 edge in sets. 4 of the matches were on clay.

I think both the emotional and physical drain on the comebacks will be felt in this match. If Almagro keeps his head early in the match I think he runs away with this. He has the serve to get cheaper points and his previous success against Robredo should get him over the line quick.

I really like the Mugro in straight sets wager at +129. If he can get through the first set I think he should be ok.

I also think Kevin Anderson has a solid shot to take a set off of Ferrer. Anderson has the power game to hit through Ferrer when serving well and Kevin has been playing solid tennis of late.

Have to give Tommy a lot of respect. After Mugro gave away the service game at 4-2 he elevated his game and started playing rock solid tennis. Should have been over with ease but nothing is ever easy if Mugro is involved.

i would like to back Ivanovic but Aga has beaten her 6 in a row including twice already this year. Neither player has played anyone of note in the tourney so its hard to gauge where both are at. I honestly have no idea on that match
