NFL was somewhat neutral to me today, then I shifted gears and went up and took the mound in game 7 which showed me some sweet cash and now I'm back to where I belong on the green carpet which hopefully ain't gonna' bounce much but rather show some sort of a steady continuity
KOROLEV - HANESCU
Big Vic, as I like to call him, is a very very quiet achiever. Not a man of carisma no flambuoyancy nothing, he gets on with his job and most of the time gets it done. He's played alot of second tier and challengers though, that's why you don't hear much of the Romanian. But a pretty solid performer in my own humble opinion. He loves his hard courts and his big serve helps him get through pretty comfortably. He's running against Yevgeni today, who reminds me of the old Yevgeni (Kafelnikov) in many aspects of his game. On the contrary to the Romanian, Korolev loves sluggin it out on the red turf, and is a very very tough baseliner.
So how does one go about to pick a winner here?! Well, for starters Korolev doesn't warrant his underdog status by any stretch of imagination. He slapped Big Vic around the last time these two met a few months ago, although it is to be noted that the meeting was played in some unknown suburb in Poland on mud which like I said before, suits Yevgeni much much better.
Nontheless, in front of his home crowd, already holding a head to head advantage over Hanescu, with the balls being pretty heavy and the green turf rather slow, I'm going easily with the Russian here. Hopefully Big Vic doesn't serve the lights out or we're in deep poopoo .. But if this gets into a brick throwin contest from the back of the court, Korolev should have no worries at all!
Try to shop around as Korolev can be gotten at a very nice price. It varies from $2.25 - $2.42.
Pick: KOROLEV for 2 Units

I'm with you on the Korolev pick Aussie. To bad on football. We'll get them back on the MNF if you are liking anything on that game. I'm on Den ml +140.

Hey Aussie...When you mention that the balls will be heavy and the green turf is rather slow in St. Petersburg, just wondering if you are basing that on say 1st hand information? or say from watching this tournament in previous years?..Any more information in regards to how slow the indoor hardcourts in St. Petersburg are would be a big help...
Thanks and GL

Great call today on the MLB. How you come up with those plays when the public was hammering the Over. So many games during the playoffs have gone Over too. I think you have Balls of Steel as well. Will tail you here while the money train is hot. Best of Luck.

I wish I had balls of steel mate. I would take very heavy dogs and they'd pay off, but I'm such a wous and keep box-footing around with little saussage dogs instead. But I like being on the safer side though and so far it's been dollars. As I have said before, I play MAINLY the dogs, but not MINDLESSLY! Big difference there.
Here's one thing NMP - Fading or going with the public isn't the answer at all. Many punters out there have a (with all due respect) a rather dumb betting philosphy/strategy. Let's fade the public, they say. Or Let's follow like sheep cause the public is onto something here for sure, and you have a case of the blind leading the blind off the cliff. People lose - Books Win!
Over the years and even more so recently, as Sports Betting has become a zillion dollar industry. I've learned that I can exploit the line movements caused by sharp and/or public money. But one has to be able to recognize who plays where and what. Initially one has get a measure of which side is being hammered by the Wise Guys and that is done by watching LIKE A HAWK mind you the opening line and then observing the line surges.
Anyhow, alot could be written about this, but don't have much time. It takes TIME and dedication and an eye for detail. Being a sports fanatic always helps, but not the answer at all either. It's like being a stock broker - Some of those guys haven't got the faintest idea about stocks or market or money. BUT they have the gift of the gab and the oratorical skills needed to persuade the individual or the company ...
I'm out. Good luck to us all with this one. Let's hope we hit with a bit of luck.

Well what you do Aussie is an Art, very hard to learn. Like you said, one must have time and dedication. I love what you do and will tail your plays because you are a proven success. Hopefully I will learn a few things along the way.

Aussie - I don't think that people realize that you are not forcing them to take your picks. It is obviously their choice. Boy, there are a bunch of lunatics on this site......
