Question

First of all...I understand that it might not seem "fair" that a MC in this tournament would be a +10x2 =+20...and that there are several entries this week that finished higher than +10.

I decided to keep it the way it was and always has been...sucks, but it's the way it's been all year.

So I finish at &#x2B;5 and its double points so I get &#x2B;10?? Seems kinda ridiculous. Double points should be for the good not the bad. I should get &#x2B;2 or &#x2B;3 or &#x2B;2.5 lol. &#xD;&#xA;Appreciate all of what your doing CM but IMO this is kinda dumb.

So if at the British or the PGA Championship the scores are -8 or -9 are you going to complain about the -16 double points?

It's been that way since the beginning of the contest...majors are double points. There are only one or two tournaments all year where it ends up being a big dropoff...but it's that way for everyone.

IMO should add 10 to missed cuts or use 36 hole score or better if the case for those who make the cut

Just saying I think US and British should give double points to the better. A +12 should go to +6, a +18 goes to +9. If you didn't have Rose, you did not benefit at all from double points. So the double points hurt everyone who made the cut. The people who missed cut benefited and IMO that's pretty ridiculous. Thats what I'm sayin.

Or what Inblood suggested above sounds more fair. Just something to make it a little bit fair.

Good suggestions for next year! rules have been the same all year very unfair to change now.  I agree with the points going for the better like you stated above for next season.  CM great job this year but leave the scoring the same for the rest of the year we cant just change the rules on the fly with only 2 months left in the season.

Agree completely.  Leave things as they are, and we can all brainstorm in the offseason.
