A few I like here. Taking it easy on tourney matchups. Tend to struggle with them.

Hoffman -105 over Tringale 1u
Overton ev over Kirk 1u
Els -105 over Walker 1u

Weir -105 over Guan 4u May make this the first max play of my life. I just dont get it. Weir is getting healthy and has been in decent form. This Guan kid is a cool story and all but I love getting a chance to fade him as an 80 may be in his near future. If I lose it will be ok I just like this spot.

Curious what you like about Overton over Kirk...I've got Kirk in as one of my golfers in a fantasy league.

I like how is putting has improved, he seems to like Bermuda grass, he's done well in windy conditions recently, and this event looks like it will be calm in the early rounds.  Plus he's got motivation to have a good finish to make the US open.

GL to you

Like the way Overton is playing and this course type is built for guys that play like Overton. I am also very big in course history and his is good here. I actually used Overton in my wildcard fantasy leagues this week. But if you dont feel comfortable dont play it. If you want one to tail it should be Weir over Guan

Love English over Romero. My RD1 PRs have English at 47 and Romero at 118.

I show Weir at -130 now, that's a 40 point jump at my book. They are both at the very bottom of my PRs.  I may put in an action wager on Weir as I agree with your assessment.

Normally I think your analysis is pretty solid. Here, you're wrong. Weir is a sucker's bet. He's made what....2 cuts out of the last 30 tourneys?? And Guan just made the cut at the Masters? I've watched Guan play. What he lacks in yardage, he makes up for in finesse. This tourney bet will be over on Saturday when Guan is playing and Weir is watching.

Guan also had probably his best putting performance of his career, if you think that continues play Guan...I personally don't.

Exactly! He was like 54-61 from 5-9 ft. Thats unreal at Augusta. But thats a lot of par saves since he made limited birdies. I just dont think the kid can make birdies on these longer courses especially if the fairways are somewhat soft and greens are firm. I may be off here but I hope not. Appreciate both you stopping by for some good discussion.

Added 1u to English over Romero

1-1  Bad job by me.

On bigger note Weir got by far the bad draw but to be honest becoming more impressed by this kid

Three lip outs by Guan...and Weir playing the best golf he has in awhile....all knotted after 1.  Half of gambling is the excitement factor....Friday will be fun!

I also played against Guan for his lack of Bermuda greens experience. Watched him a little and noticed ball bouncing off his better.

And by the way it played a ton harder in the morning than the afternoon

not sure I'd call avg dd 247 crushing it.. but i agree the kid can get it around the track.. the wand appears to be his weapon of score.

I'd say a -3 on the day is crushing it. Who cares about drive distance? 38% of scoring is putting, 79% is approach and putting.

No doubt minus 3 is an excellent score my only point WAS that he did not shot the score by what most refer to crushing as in Bubba's drives...don't misunderstand I have total appreciation for his game and I also favored Weir as a veteran who appears to be on the upswing form wise thing that Guam length and his age would keep him from the score he shot today. Obviously I was wrong. His dd today was 257 a big improvement one thing is also for sure the kid will get longer and has the tools it appears to be a superstar at some time in the not to distant future!

When someone is "crushing it" that has nothing to do with dd or impact force...it's a modern term that means "performing well".
