This is really the first golf betting I have ever done. What are the most important factors to consider when betting golf?

Type of Course vs Type of Golfer

I do indeed play golf. About a 12-15 handicap. How does that help?

If you play golf then I'm sure you understand how important trends are. You usually play better and score better on courses youre familiar with. You usually have a tendency to putt well on either fast or slow greens. The aesthetics of a course standing on a tee also factor in how well you strike the ball and put the ball in play. Then, of course, we have all the basic stats we follow regarding how well a player does in every category. But as far as playing golf, it obviously gives you a perspective that the non-golfer isn't able to recognize which is huge when laying wagers. I like your concept of golfer vs course but since we have such a young and new generation of golfers in the Masters this weekend, I put more emphasis on recent play, players psyche and, of course, putting. A lot of these golfers haven't played this course but a few times in their life or at all.
