&#xD;&#xA;You tell half the story. He also had a 3 shot lead after 2 rounds and a 2 shot lead with 7 holes left to play.&#xD;&#xA;Haha all you want. Congrats to Tiger for winning an event that&#x27;s not even official with a 18 player field on a course that has always been comfortable for him.&#xD;&#xA;We will wait and see what he does in 2012 and how he fares in the Majors.

Agreed VegasVeteran.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;How desperate are we to have Tiger back? His picture on the front of multiple news publications, lead story on sports broadcasts.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;No denying Tiger&#x27;s abilities as a golfer but geez he won a modified "boy&#x27;s" weekend (less the debauchery) on his home turf. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Maybe the winning feeling is back for a moment and that will be another step in the direction to domination again but I don&#x27;t believe that Tiger is back yet.

Like I said, people will continue to nick pick this and that, and try to detract from this win. How many other golfers can go birdie, birdie to will a tournament. OK, small field. but they are all ranked in the top 50. So, I guess major winner Furyk, Major winner Johnson, President Cup member Choi, Mahan are just average Joe golfers.  Of course Tiger will never be the Tiger of old, but cmon man. He is the best out there now, and the rest of the golfing world better watch out when he gets the "process" done.

This "tournament" was nothing more than an exhibition. It's not a recognized event and doesn't even count toward Tiger's career wins.

With that said it was against a "decent" field. Not horrible by any means but certainly not the Top 50 field it claims.

While most players don't get up for this event like a regular tournament it was solid work by Tiger to birdie the final 2 holes to win.

Was it an improvement? YES. Is it safe to say Tiger will return like the Tiger of old? NO.

He has to do a lot more against a full field to prove that to me.

True he will never return and dominate the game like he did ( neither will anyone else or neither did Jack even vs way way weaker fields) but false he is done winning.. Its not the field he beat its the shots he hit that bodes well for him later on.. When the smoke clears he will own EVERY record in golf.. PS he now holds 90% of them already without winning another tourney.. Just not the major race..
