Not new to the site, but new to golf capping-- I know golf is supposed to be one of the most profitable sports to bet on, so I should definitely start sometime. That said, I'm looking for a few good cappers with solid records on this board to tail, and pick up some pointers on general golf betting strategy.
Is there anyone you would suggest?
Thanks a lot guys, it is much, much appreciated.

I think everyone here is fairly close as far as win/lose goes. Some good cappers have come and gone. Gmar was good. MLBGuru. The best is RichRogers! Tail him! He picked Goose to win this week. But he doesn't post to often.
I'm hitting 54% right now ...don't know if thats good enough for you or not. Would like to have more conversation on matchups. But theres not a lot of interaction here.

What are you looking to bet on? Tourny Winner? Top 10? Top 4? 1 on 1? They even have top American, top Euro, group betting, etc...theres plenty of options.
I only cap the 1 on 1 matchups. I have done a few Top 10, and I'm 2-0 in parlays! Not much into tourny matchups. Four days, theres a lot of variables involved. But, you could win easily if one of the guys misses the cut. Some seem to prefer the tournament matchups more. I may start to dabble in that a little as the year goes on. I LOVE stats...so as the year goes on the cream rises to the top!

Not that good last week 3 and 3. But advice. Hey, no charge. So lisen up and take it for what you think it is worth.
This week head to head for the tourney:
Stricker over Z. Johnson This course is long 7400 at sea level. Very hard. I think -4 won last year. Strick is playing very well and all the guys I am giving you are long ball "mendenhalls". Strick will not win the tourney because he is having trouble closing the deal, but over 4 days I like him.
Perry over Scott. Scott will either full me and be great or will not make the cut. Kenny is long and a good scrambler and mentaly wants to be fed-ex and on the cup team very badly.
Hoffman over Watney. Nick played his heart out last week. Look for a little let down. Charlie is playing great and 300 + drives don't hurt. Appleby over Immelman. This one I like alot. Stuart lives in Florida and is gunning for Bay Hills next week I think, which he plays alot. It is now or never Stuey.
O'Hair over Z. Johnson. I could get blind sided by Zack, but I just don't think he is a good as these guys on a long course.

Thanks AJ.... just cruising through the golf threads to see if anyone had any thoughts on the Masters futures which are now out on Pinnacle.
The only tournaments I typically play are the Masters and the WGC Matchplay. Might play the other majors this year, but we'll see.
I'll have a post out this week with my Masters futures leans. The smart thing for me to do would be to tail my 2007 picks (Z. Johnson, Donald, Immelman, Cink, Woods, Leonard). Zach of course won it all that year at 200-1 and Immelman won last year at 70-1... but of course I didn't take him!
Simplifying is better, right?
