Something special happened in the last meeting between these two clubs.Real Madrid did not concede a single goal. Why is that special you may ask? That 3-0 win by Real Madrid in the first leg of this tie was the first clean sheet that Real Madrid had in their previous 12 European matches.
Do we expect Real Madrid to keep another clean sheet in this tie away to Galatasaray? No.The reason for that is simple and it has been Real Madrid’s run of form on the road this year. They have not kept a clean sheet in any of their away Champions league matches dating back two seasons now. In the domestic leage for example they have conceded at last 1 goal in all but two of their 16 away games.
Also, we have to consider the fact that Real Madrid shares a dreaded stat with Galatasaray … these two teams playing today have conceded the most goals among the eight teams left in the tournament.Galatasary having conceded 12 while Real Madrid has conceded 11.
So what will put Real Madrid through? It’s the aforementioned best attack in the tournament. They have scored 21 goals and as they showed in the last game, they have the ability to get goals from almost anyone on the field. That is the beauty of Real Madrid football. Ronaldo will get his goals but the likes of Benzema, Higuain, Modric, DiMaria et al are always ready and able to find the back of the net, especially when Mesut Özil is feeding them perfect balls. Oh, did I mention that Özil himself had 2 goals in only 10 minutes of play on the weekend in Madrid’s 5-1 win?Talk about coming into this match on a goal scoring high. Real Madrid is clicking on offence. Madrid's 5-1 rout of Levante on Saturday made it eight goals in two games and an average of three per game in their last six in all competitions.

In fact, Real Madrid have only failed to score once in their last 34 Champions League games and have managed to score in all of their last 16 away CL games
Galatasaray have conceded exactly two goals in each of their last four European home games against Spanish opposition which doesn’t bode well for the hosts. It is also important to note that the Turkish hosts have only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 14 Champions League games.
Real Madrid is averaging 21 shots per game.Galatasaray is averaging just under 15. The difference is the ability to finish.
While Galatasaray has the poorest goal scoring of teams left in the competition, they are still averaging 1 goal scored per game. Given the fact that Madrid is prone to conceding and the fact that they have nothing to lose and must be on the attack all night to make up 3 goals, I do feel they will score 1 tonight.Don’t expect Madrid to be held off the scoresheet though as 1 away goal will kill this tie.
On a final note, the Over 2.5 is 12-2 in Real Madrid’s last 14 Champions League games.
No need to go on and on about this one.
My stats make this game most probable to see 3 goals in 3 of my 4 models with 4 goals in the fourth model. Most likely score is 2-1 Real Madrid but I don’t want to bet the score because if Galatasaray keeps pushing, this score can get embarrassing.
Good luck my friends.

They should ... they are the better team ... Malaga has shown a great ability to frustrate opponents though and close the door. Whether they succeed or not remains to be seen but I just can't get enough confirmation to pull the trigger on anything in this game.

Borussia Dortmund v Malaga over 2.5 -135 to win 2 units
After analyzing this game up and down I see no other way but to play this game. Borussia Dortmund missed many chances to score in the last game and uncharacteristically, missed all of them. That won't happen again in this matchup at home.
Malaga looks weakened by the losses at defence and could easily concede 3 goals in this game but, may score themselves as they have no choice but to try and seek that away goal because in my view they WILL NOT keep Dortmund off the scoresheet again this game.
Weligton and Manuel Iturra are out for Malaga after having picked up yellow cards in the last game.
The most likely outcome in this game is 2-1 according to my statistical models but I also get a 3-1 BD victory in another model.
This Dortmund team can score. Both teams come in of high scoring gamnes on the weekend, with same scorelines, 4-2, with Dortmund coming back to win their clash while Malaga lost 4-2 in a clash that saw 8 changes made in their roster in preparation for this game.
I would love to write more but I'm outta the office now and want to get home in time for the matches.
Cheers

Vaas - he got both right and you insult him halfway through the games? Clearly you can't afford to lose the four dollars you bet per game - so do us all a favour and just get lost. Thanks so much!!
