Chelsea returns from Japan after losing the Club Team World Cup to Brazilian side Corinthians, 1-0. Chelsea had many opportunities to open that game up but came up against a hot goaltender.
Given that Chelsea have slipped in the domestic league and are now out of Champions League play, one can argue that this leage cup is their only chance of winning some hardware this season and as a result, they will want to give it their all in this game to re-establish themselves. We know based on the season's earlier results that this team can score goals and, to an extent are also vulnerable to allowing goals against.
I expect an open match here. For the record, my 4 projection models give me a minumum of 3 goals in all 4 spots s I will back the over 3 at plus money. I see both teams being able to find the back of the net here and Chelse are due to break out on offence.
Chelsea has played an open style in League Cup play and has Chelsea did very well to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-0 and Manchester United 5-4 (Extra Time) and usually League Cup play sees more open style games.
As for Leeds, they too have played to some high scoring results in the League Cup beating Oxford 4-0, Everton 2-1 and 3-0 in their last game vs. Southampton 3-0.
I'm backing this game to end with more than 3 goals in regular time. Chelsea has been involved in some high scoring games of late and I see that continuing here. 3-1 is my most probable outcome.

I now have a full blown case of FEVER fever. And BOL with the young lads team, not surprised at your record at all.
Now I just want the game to stay how it is (unlikely at this pace) cuz I played your 3-1 prediction as a correct score at +1100. Only for +0.05 units but it still pays nice.
Thanx for the plays and a very merry Christmas to you and the Fever-Fam

hahaha thanks ... but here's a word to the wise .. my projections are not supposed to be predictions on final scores. I use my math model in which I pump in certain parameters. They spit out most likely results. When they align I play them. They give me "projected" results but not "game score predictions" if you know what I mean. The reason why I said "probable" outcome is because that score was my own thoughts on how the game would come out based on my hadicap of the goal market.
FYI, my 4 projectes based on my model today were;
Chelsea 2 - Leeds 1
Chelsea 3 - Leeds 1
Chelsea 3 - Leeds 1
Chelsea 4 - Leeds 1
At the end of the day, the score doesn't matter ... it's the statistical probability of the game going over that does.
Cheers ... now that tonight's lineup is in, time to get my kids fed (wife working late) and off to the game.

Glad to report that my son's team is now 8 wins, 1 draw and zero losses headed into the Christmas break after tonight's 4-1 win (my son 1 goal, 2 assists). Lol

Congrats on yet another victory with your sons squad
And regarding the score projections/predictions I fully understand what you're saying thats why I played the O 3 and CHELSEA -0.5,-1 for a half unit each and only played 3-1 for 0.05 units for a lil bit of a flyer.
