Soccer leagues explained please?

Can someone please break down how all these leagues work?  Getting better, but still find it somewhat confusing to follow.

Top leagues = English premier league, serie A, la liga.  Top European teams from respective countries compete in the Champions League.  Champions league is most prestigious in the country?  Europe league is for good teams that did not make champions league?

UEFA also competes to determine Euro cup and qualifying for world cup?

Then we have the other association.  Concaf club teams compete in concaf champions league... but these teams are nowhere nearly as good as UEFA club teams?  Same goes with the connebol club teams league, which has the copa liberatodores?

No such champions league thing for African and Asian teams?

And call me crazy, but I think I read something about an international champions league thing?

This shit is too crazy to follow!

Can anyone do a better job of breaking it down?

it's pretty crazy,any given weekend for nxt 6months,u  might have 500,games,u cld sift thru,30countries,England alone has about 6 leagues to bet on..just take it slow and easy like the turtle....and with time....I'm at 6-7yrs still figurin out new leagues, i find...odds r "sharper",in the upper leagues,probly cuz more money is wagered,so i prefer..searching the lower,for betting ops!GL

cantex, if there was one thing I can emphasize, it is that very point...

 

The larger the league, the sharper the lines.

That is why people must have patience when a capper goes 2-7 or 1-5 in Champion's League or Europa League matches...

EPL lines are very sharp most of the time.
