Question

Nigeria has no chance to advance do they? They sit with 0 points and even if they win their final game wouldnt they be out on the tie breaker?

Any help and clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Currently:Argentina 6pts, &#x2B;4 goals, 5 goals scoredGreece 3pts, -1 goals, 2 goals scoredKorea 3 pts, -1 goals, 3 goals scoredNigeria 0 pts, -2 goals, 1 goal scoredIf Nigeria beats Korea 2-0 and Argentina beats Greece 1-0 (or more)then Nigeria has 3 pts and 0 goal differential with 3 goals scored and they would win the tiebreaker with greece (0 GD, 2goals) and Korea (-3 GD)

They have to beat Sth Korea by at least 3 goals and hope Argentina beats Greece, then they will go through on goal difference

It's the only way out of the group for them

the criteria for teams level on points are

Goal difference
Goals scored
greatest # of points in matches between the teams that are tied
goal difference in matches between tied teams
greatest # of goals scored in matches between tied teams
drawing of lots at the ultimate tiebreaker

If argentina beats greece - even by just 1 goal - all Nigeria has to do is beat S Korea and they advance.

yep yep...I was wrong with my 2-0 scoreIf Nigeria win, they have a -1 GD and S Korea and Greece would have a -2 GD
