If so Im going to vegas next weekend, and would like to know which is the best place to go and watch the games??

Id also like to know, planning a trip in december and Ive been looking around, what are some decent hotels to stay at too?

Hotels I have stayed at in Vegas and really liked:

MGM

Bellagio

Mandalay

Mirage

NY NY

I would recomend any of these to you.

The best place to watch games in Vegas is at the Hard Rock Casino but the book is very small and not many seats.  Vegas Hilton is a good book especially on NFL Sundays.

Thanks for the insight. Have not tried either of them before. Been to hardrock but not in sportsroom. I will try them Thnaks again

mgm is my favorite by far.. station casinos are solid especially sunset station which is a ways from the strip though.. have fun

Yea im staying at mgm and like their book,but I was looking to change it up!

I'm hope you're kidding about the Hard Rock. Bunch of fucking yuppies [you may not be able to leave without fighting if you can't stand faggy rich boys] and tvs smaller than the one at our house.

Alot of good suggestions from others in the forum I will tell you one thing GET YOUR SEATS EARLY EARLY EARLY. I mean like 8 am or you will be standing. Some books reserve alot of their seats for casino/sportsbook highrollers so check that out also. I am a Mirage guy myself but CP, MGM, Bellagio etc etc all homeruns

i have to agree, probably the lamest of the nicer hotels, I like the big screen at the mirage and ceasars.  i'll be at the bellagio this weekend.  going to the WISCONSIN/unlv barnburner

comparing standard rooms to rooms i say RIO their rooms are spacious compare to others but heck who the hell stays in their rooms in vegas anyways, but book wise LV Hilton is huge and their rooms arent that bad either
 
TI / Mirage... their rooms smells of cigars
 
MGM... not bad
 
Ceasars... good but that place is huge, and wondering around 4am drunk trying to find the fucken elevator to ur room is mission impossible at times, i swear i did lapses around that place before i found THAT elevator!
 
NY NY.... small but clean
 
Circus Circus... dont even think about it
 
Frontier.... reference circus circus
 
Stratusphere.... nice lil rooms especially how they have a lil wannabe sofa/tv area with a wall seperating the bedroom
 
Mandalay/Bellagio/Venetian... nice of course
 
Paris... good but small
 
i think thats about it that ive stayed at on the strip... downtown casino rooms are blah from what i remember

No contest. The Hilton sportsbook is the best. Hands down.

Also if you go to bellagio the area near the bar ( lounge style area) you have to pay for drinks, the area near the windows drinks are free.

best place to watch is Wynn or Red Rock, nobody else's big screens can compare.  i also like Palms (a little more fun/casual), and Caesars

how could anyone recommend NY NY?  there are about a total of 10 seats, all within 5 feet of the screens (real neckbreaker).  oh and no big screen.  that book is a joke.

also the Rio isn't too bad, free drinks it doesn't matter if you're playing horsies or sports.  some places suck for drinks, it's like one ticket per $300 or more wagered.

I live in Vegas. There are a lot of good places to stay and watch the games. The Mirage isn't the best book, but I like it because they hook you up with free drinks and you don't even need drink tickets. If you are looking for a place that is a little cheaper, the Hilton is a great place to watch games. They have a bunch of huge big screens and they also have better lines than most places. And the Hilton is just like the Mirage as far as getting unlimited free drinks. Also, if you want to watch the game at a pretty sweet sports book off the strip, Green Valley Ranch is a great place. But you don't get unlimited free drinks like the other places I mentioned.
