I have heard that the casino has evidence (or so they say) that Ivey was involved with the cards being marked. As to infer that he had something to do with those cards being on that table at that time.
Otherwise - I agree. I love when casinos say you are "cheating" when you use your brain to count cards, or notice things that can give you an advantage.
I also have heard that he made it fairly obvious what he was doing because he requested that the dealer take the cards for the next hand out of the shoe completely, rotate them, and then put them back in to the shoe before she dealt.
Im of the mindset that the casino needs to be on top of this kind of stuff, and should pay him. But it will be interesting what comes out.

There is no morality in a casino. They are trying to steal your money, and you are trying to steal theirs. Is it immoral for them to set up all kinds of games that are deliberately misleading for the player as to their real odds of winning? Is the average guy at the craps table actually capable of calculating the true odds of rolling a 5 before a 7? Please.....
