thanks, actually 1985 was my lil' feller days and what did they have back then?  superfriends being my favorite but there was also jim henson's muppet babies which i liked.  smurfs was popular but never watched much of it.  There was also dungeons and dragons which i liked.  Last but not least there was punky brewster on saturday mornings.  Who would have thought that soleil moon-fyre was so under rated.  She's not in anything much that we can see because she's been doing work as a voice actress.  I'm not a real fan of the hollywood make-up, but even underneath it all, you can tell she is the real deal in my opinion.

Loved Saturday mornings... it was like Christmas every week! Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, the Roadrunner... classic! Used to watch with my three sisters (one has since passed) in our parents' bedroom. Good times. Wish I could go back for a day. How cool would that be?

Looney Tunes, He-Man, GI Joe, Smurfs were all good Saturday morning TV.  A giant bowl of sugary cereal and watching all the new toy advertisements just topped it off.

I used to love Scooby Doo and Captain Caveman back-to-back.

I enjoyed trying to solve the mystery.

There were 3 potential suspects every week and I think my record was 0 for 3,000.

I knew by the age of ten I wouldn't be a good detective.

Yeah that is pretty much how I remembered it...It is amazing how the mind can remember simple things like that after 30+ years.....of course back then I prolly had no idea what it meant...was just another funny cartoon with a catchy song to me....

Too bad today's writers can't touch that old skool stuff....

Also grew up on Schoolhouse Rock.

Liked it so much I purchased the full DVD set for the kiddo and she learned "Unlocked my Adjectives" and Rufus Xavier just like we did..
