Ok so thursday night sitting at a bar in a booth with 6 people, the bitch of the town was sitting in and looking for trouble cussing and talking shit to everyone. I dipped my fingers into my beer and flicked them at her saying shuttt the f uppp, she proceeded to throw a beer mug (the size of my head) at my face and it shattered basically slicing my ear in 2. I was in er all night, have trouble hearing out of it. I needed 17 stitches on my ear 4 on my hand. I may need plastic surgury on it also...
Now i pressed charges on her simple because i can not pay for it, but ive spoken to some lawyers and friends fathers who are stateys and everyone is saying you need to SUE big time. Shes 22 and im sure isnt loaded but theyre saying you can go over the restaurant for easily over 6 figures and say theyre were over serving her. Because thats what they do there and theres always issues.
Ive never been involved with suing or pressing charges so any advice would be helpful or im curious if anyone has ever dealt with this?
