I feel you Hutch. All of my Cleveland teams seem that way as well.

Gopher men's basketball team lost Nolan and Moe Walker to injuries last year and their best player, Trevor Mbakwe, to a torn ACL this year.

It's the one program I have some hope for.  But you're right, it was pretty nuts.

Well the Twins won two championships in my lifetime.  I guess that is something!

Almost losing to a shitty UNLV team last night. If that's not cursed I don't know what is.

Hutch, I think it's safe to say that there are a lot of cities like this...and states. I mean I am a big Houston sports fan and other than our 2005 appearance (and sweep mind you) in the World Series with the Astros, there has been pretty much NOTHING of note since the Rockets with Hakeem in the mid 90s. (I mean we had a few MLS soccer titles and WNBA titles but get real, and I am a soccer fan but MLS is no Premier league )

I feel your pain

I almost forgot about this thread.  The Wild signs two very good free agents and now it's likely the season won't start on time.  Twins are beyond awful.  Vikings will be lucky to win 5 or 6 games.  I like Jerry Kill, but that performance at UNLV was terrible.  M. Gray......figure out how to hit a wide open receiver.

No, Minnesota is not cursed.  They are a small market team that has success every 10 years or so.  Brett Favre was a cancer when they signed him, healthy or not.
