Anyone do this? Can you tell me the benefits? I'm looking into starting this, where to get ropes? are they expensive?

By ropes, are you talking about making a noose and standing on a chair?

On a more serious note, are you talking about jumping rope or climbing ropes like they do in the military?  Either way, I am sure that ropes are an EXCELLENT workout.  The hardest part of consistently working out is actually finding something that you somewhat enjoy doing.  And if ropes are the answer for you, go for it!

that's some hard garbage.  T

I'm talking about the big thick ropes where you stand on one end and wave them back and forth with another guy or have them attached to the wall.

So good for your upper body  - ropes of death

As I was watching the above link this link also appeared on the same page so I figured I'd share in case you want to do yoga afterwards.

I almost worked it out with a rope after the Lakers lost to Washington.
