I lived in Reading off the Schuylkill for a year, that place is HOOD

sucks to have to pack heat just to go on a bike ride down a rail trail, but that city just doesn't spend any money to keep the streets safe.

I remember going to watch BHOp fight at the Sovereign Center back when it first opened, and there was multiple incidents of gun shots being fired afterwards.

My house got broken into once, and i called the cops, and these dufus ass police were asking "do you really live here?". One cop told me that they don't usually patrol between 400-1200 block of my street, because the hood bastards shoot at fire trucks and police

bbbbut, guns are bad.  surely this old man could have simply called the police for protection or run away and avoided the whole situation.
