Yes, because you cant die from it. Marijuana is the number 1 cash crop in the united states. Nobody has died from it so i dont see why it isnt legal. Its safer than alcohol and tobacco. With it legal i think the economy can benefit from it and create more jobs.

Been clean n sober for 6 years now but i say Legalize It. Amsterdam and other countries have done well and prospered so whatls the big deal really ? A Harvard professor has proven for years that it would have a profound effect on the economy. Violence would also go down no doubt and there's so many other positives that far outweigh the negatives.

Big waste of time and money on useless war against marijuana supply and demand. As with alcohol, prohibition has failed. Also marijuana is less harmful and has some medical benefits.. Better to legalize, tax and regulate. Organized crime and violence would drop. Then overworked polices, courts and prisons can be better utilized for real crimes.

This is a no brainer legalize it!!!! Hemp outsells wheat and corn combined.... If farmers start farming hemp it will create more jobs and more money for the economy. this will never happen tho because of OUR awesome gov. They make ALL the money off of it being illegal!!!

People are already greedy enough. Maybe this could put a little soul back into society. The unbridled notions of greed and consumption are unsustainable. In fact, it might already be too late for this country.
Trust me. This plant could not make things worse. Maybe if you have one of those glorious jobs in the Prison Industrial Complex that produces so much for the economy.............

You want to expose a prohibitionist for what they are, ask them to list the top three benefits of our current prohibition aproach, and watch them squirm trying to come up with even one benefit
Nothing absorbs CO2 like this plant Nothing has less an adverse effect on the land in which its grown Its a superfood if you consume it Its an excellent anti-inflammatory
Have you ever met someone thats anti that has ANY reason or science to back up their stupid opinion?
Ricky, the amount of currency and assets that flow in from seizures is a needle in a haystack compared to how much resource is wasted by the gov fighting a war against the citizenry
A friends mom was anti her entire life. Now that she's terminally ill, she gets smoked up every day, and is loving life
I wonder how these people sleep at night, keeping the sick from safe/legal access to medicine? And for what? Because they are worried rec users will be able to enjoy the benefits of this super plant?
Doesnt matter, look how fast things are moving in our direction. 14 states are petitioning the fed gov to have it reclassified to class2 drug (some medical benefits). Big cities like philly and chicago are catching up to the times and decriminalizing 1oz and under
Freedom will reign
In the meantime, just continue to ignore the unjust laws and the close minded ignorant fools that look to have a government destroy the lives of the working class that keep right on toking. Things have a way of working themselves out, maybe one day karma will pay them a visit when one of their mothers, sister, daughters are suffering through their final days and they realize that they have only themselves to blame for demanding they suffer to the fullest extent
