You know the stereotype when most of the USA thinks of Wisconsin, "6 months of brutal winter".
Not happening this year. And honestly our winters are never 6 months long. And it's not that odd to have a year like we're having this year, which is almost no winter so far.
It's almost Christmas and we have had barely any snow. There is ZERO snow on the ground in Milwaukee. Northern Texas has had more snow than we have had up here. And it hasn't been cold at all. It's usually been in the 40's at least. It normally starts warming up in March sometime and that's only about 2 months away and it hasn't even gotten cold up here yet.
Maybe January and February will be brutal but so far it's been great.
And in a few months you fuckers down South will be burning up in 100 degree temps again.

even in NH its mild. I don't use snow accumulation as a factor to determine how cold it is I use ice thickness. Currently I haven't seen a skim of ice on any pond and icefishing starts in 9 days.

Yep, same here. The water in Lake Michigan is still above 40 degrees I heard.

Up here close to Toronto we have zero snow and have had nothing all year to date. I guess I should actually say down here since Wisconsin is more north than where we are lol. Anyway, hope the snow stays away! Merry Christmas Wisconsin and Northern States!

While I do like the snow during Christmas I'd rather it stay away for winter. Saves getting the winter tires too! Haha Buff boy! You would have a little snow wouldn't you! Funny how Lake Ontario dumps that shit on you but often saves us. Gotta get down to a couple sabres games this year! LOVE HSBC Center! Huge bruins fan and love coming down for a night or two.

People who rarely receive snow want a white christmas. Whereas those chronically buried under excess snow prefer a green christmas. People want what they don't have.

Yea, maybe I should move to Australia to be around some better looking people. Like this one guy I used to talk to on here did. He was originally from Oregon. Anybody remember that guy?

Very mild winter so far in NJ/NY metro area. If it was colder, we would have been pounded w/ snow today but fortunately just a lot of rain this morning.
Snowed here late in October but that's been it so far.
