feels like the regret sticks with you these days got any tips to stop it in it's tracks.

Life is way too short to spend time dwelling on what has already happened and what you can't possibly change.

Everyone fucks up.  Learn from your mistakes and move on.

Of course depending and how big the mistake is that is easier said than done.
