Tipping the plumber

got a plumber coming round to install some faucets, got a very competitive quote and if he does a good job, do i just pay the price agreed or should i "tip" him a certain amount over the quote.

job is around $200.

he aint ripping me off, hes installing 4 faucets for 200 notes, some other places were quoting me 100+ per faucet so thats the reason for the question

I wouldn't tip a plumber. I've dealt with plenty of them.

yeah...home depot sells bottom of the barrel glacier bay...cheap faucets...kohler,moen and american standard are much better...

you are the type of guy that steals the tip money from the table when your friends have their back turned...also the same guy that gets some body fluid mixed into their food at the local restaurant....

No you dont tip your plumber. Do you tip the lawn guy when he comes? Idk where everyone feels the need to tip anyone in the service industry.

I own a repair service, we do everything including faucets.  I never expect a tip after a job, once in a while a customer will round up to an extra $20 maybe, but it's not expected.

dont install those in your home if you own it, they are junk. Im a plumber. 200 for installing 4 faucets is cheap. If those things leak and destroy your cabinets,flooring,drywall etc. you wont think it was such a good deal. You get what you pay for.

I'm a contractor and dam I wish there was more ppl like you lol a tip over the price he gave you  How many faucets Glacier Bays run apx $15 to $25 each labor apx $50 per . So if its more then 3 he gave you a great price but after all that said a nice cold one will do

Great price $50 per I charge anywhere from $75 to $100  By him a 30 pack and tell him to have a good time on you

U dont tip the damn plumber, Thats why u get a couple bids from a cpl dif contractors and they make enough off the bid....

 Go with American Standard or something better then the Home Deot shit . The faucets cost more but the labor would still be the same
