Hey guys, I need your help. A radio station in my home town has a contest on the go. They have hid 9 maps and we have to find them. Two have been found and we are on map # 3. If I find a map, I have 1 in 9 chances to win 10,000!

Clues we got today

1. open to the public
2. it's sticking around
3. no need to dig around

I was thinking a public park or libary.

Sticking around - stuck on something.

sticking = tree

Anyone have any ideas. I'm about to head out to look for it. Thanks!!!

How you going to look with just those clues?

Is it within a certain mile radius or something?

Where do you live? Easier for someone that lives around the area...

Open to the public is virtually everywhere...

It's sticking around could be a gazillion things...could be that it is stuck to something or it could be a place where you might get sticky from eating something....or it could be on a cork board at a college or something...

No need to dig means it is out in the open...

Again though they have to hide it where not just anyone will find it, so that would mean it is not out in the open for all to see or someone would just grab it who doesn't even know there is a contest going on....or it could mean it's sticking around, as in at the radio station....

They did say located in St. John's. Thats our capital city. Still a big area to look lol.

The next clue will be Monday morning at 8am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm until someone finds it.

Good idea that it could be around the radio station.

You say this is the 3rd map....can you supply the clues and where the map was found for the first two contests? It would help to see how the clues are derived.

The 2nd map was found at Topsail Beach. Under the Topsail Beach sign. Under the sign was a flower garden. It was in the soil.

1: miss the map you'll pass it twice (one way into topsail beach and one way out)
2: wouldn't it be nice to have a bird's eye view (the sign has a bird on it)
3: Follow the arrows to get what you want (there is an arrow that points you to topsail beach)
4: Don't be afraid to scratch the surface (dig in the flower garden)
5: 18 and under (there are 18 rocks on the sign so its under it)
6: One right, two lefts (directions)
7: You'll need to be on top of your game ("top"sail beach_
8: Not in St. John's
9. Don't think outside the box (in the flower box)
10. under picture perfect blue skies ( the sign had blue skies)

touche... would have helped if i read all of the posts. Well whatever public places you search, I'd look on the floor/ground... maybe some kind of historical place?

Does the radio station promote concert/events where flyers may be taped or posted on streetpoles etc? A club area downtown?

Another tangent, any noteworthy 'sticks' in town? Archery/spears/javelins exhibits/history

Any old ships stuck in the mud there?

The radio stations doesn't promote concerts with flyers but there is flyers downtown on poles. Maybe I'll search down there.

I'll do some research on sticks today. Not sure about any noteworthy sticks.

No ships stuck.

I thought for sure I found it today.

sticking around - so I thought it would be close to the radio station.

open to the public - there's a huge sign over a furniture warehouse that says "open to the public". it was only down the round from the radio station.

I searched high and low and found nothing. There were other people looking there too as we were. So I wasn't the only one who thought of that spot.

anyone else have any ideas
