went bust last night

Question

Hey fellas, last nights football game really roughed me up. Teased the Broncos and the Under 6.5 points. Took the under in the 1st half, then made an over bet in one of the quarters (something I&#x27;ve never done). After going 0-3 I played some online blackjack in frustration and emptied my account &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;In total, lost about $700...and in reality only had 300 invested from the beginning of the season.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Just alittle pissed this morning...I hate depositing and starting again, knowing I might self destruct in a month or two. Any advice?

fyi-I don&#x27;t do this as a job, or a second income...I do it for fun, entertainment, and something to do. I have a steady full time job, and a roof over my head. So I&#x27;m not living on the streets eating out of the dumpsters. Just alittle ticked about my money management skills online when it comes to gambling.

Any advice?[/Quote] any time i have been pissed about anything {does not have to be gambling related} i have genreally found that that is when i do my worst gambling {cards especially}...that is when i shut her down until i get my mind right...it is o.k. to take a break...just what works for me

Something I also wanna throw out there...I don't wager only a % of a my "bankroll". If I deposit a couple hundred, I'll make $50 bets, and I've always seemed to get on a good roll.

DiverRon-I know others have lost more than me...which also makes me count my blessings. But it just sucks starting over, and trying to build back what I had. While others seem to have more of a system.

I too lost my BR on Sunday. The Giants hit me hard and I tried to win it back by teasing the pats and Eagles, so I know exactly how you feel.

But gambling is a funny thing - you can't get too high or too low. But let me tell you when the eagles lost it felt like someone kicked me in the balls.

But it was my own fault for not following better money management.

I'm going to hold off for a bit before I reload, but I'm sure I'll have some in there by the weekend.

DJ-I&#x27;m about an hour NW of the cities...pretty close by ya! Chance-I was just saying I have an actual life besides sports betting. Whatever I win, just goes to more gambling and entertainment. Whatever I lose just gets chalked up as stupid fun entertainment.
