Casino/Gaming options in San Diego, CA?

I am heading to San Diego soon and needed thoughts on the best place to game at? 
 
I prefer 1/2 NL Hold 'Em where I can actually try to win but my girlfriend prefers blackjack and other table games where she can blow her money. 
 
Any good recommendations?  Don't want some shit underground joint, would like a classy, decent place.

Barona is probably the nicest place, but about 30 miles east of downtown.   Harrah's Rincon is not bad...also a bit of a drive from downtown.  PALA is out near Harrah's..kind of lower class place.

Isn't their better stuff to do in San Diego than sit in a casino?

Well when you live in Texas and haven't been to a casino in a few years because Shreveport is a dump, then you might want to stop by for a few hours.

Shreveport ain't the best but the casinos aren't that bad......certainly not that bad if  you're considering going to San Diego to gamble!

Sycuan is good too as they were the first to build, but Barona is probably the best overall now......You can play Golf and they have shows their (i.e. bands, comedy, stc...). Pechanga is not too bad...

Barona is probably our best casino in SD...poker room their is pretty big, usually always at least 10-15 tables going, but on a good day when the bad beat jackpot is up the room will be full(about 30 tables) I was up their playing last night and the Jackpot was at 15 K.
 
Be careful playing their 1/2 NL its a 60$ max buyin, you get a lot of idiots/fish that play like donks. I would suggest playing their 1/3 $300 max, thats where I always seem to do better. Good luck and enjoy San Diego

I'm not going to San Diego just to gamble, it will be something fun to do one afternoon. 

The bulk of the trip is Sea World/Zoo/Padres game, drive up to LA for a day to see the Angels and root against them.
