Bachelor Party -- Montreal

I've got a buddy having a bachelor party in Montreal. Has anyone gone there before for a bachelor party? Is it any good? I'm just looking to hear what kind of a scene it is, etc. Thnx

So you recommend Tuxman? How is the casino there? What about smoking laws, ie, weed?

Casino is pretty nice but they have these electronic poker tables  so not the usual experience. Smoking laws? Pretty much like anywhere else in Canada. Just don't get caught .

Gotcha elithepunk, thanks for the headsup. So besides the electronic poker, the craps and blackjack tables are all normal though, correct?
 
We are thinking mid-August to go, I assume there is plenty of women around then?

Montreal is a great town for a bachelor party.  Great strip clubs..the ladies are hot and they are very friendly. 

I have been to 3 bachlor parties in montreal and always had a blast. Just a great night life in that city.

Not a big fan of the casino. I prefer Vegas for gambling.

Thanks Negambler. Yeah, we have about 18 people going and everyone has done Vegas 10 times over, so I guess we are looking for something different.

Yes and yes. Not long ago, we did not even have poker at the casino and when people started to complain, they took the easy way out by not having to deal with any dealers who were slowing down the installations of the tables. So basically, we've been playing poker with cards on a screen in front of you. A strange experience.

Everything else is legit and the casino is one of the nicest you'll get a chance to visit in Canada.

As for girls, head out to Sainte Catherine Street  and St.Laurent boulevard to see whats going on. People usually are partying quite late in that part of town.

St. Catherines like other said is fun. Very good restaurants there. W&G is a good one I recommend...
 
strip clubs there i assume (always went with the wifey to Montreal, so no SC's for me)

if you wanna see some girl on girl 69 on stage head over to "Danses Contact" which is also on St Catherines....no girl is below an 8/10

Danses contact lol.........yeah, been there. Check out Club Downtown on St Catherines, find a stripper you like and ask her to go upstairs to a privtae booth where touching is permitted.
 
Very fun stuff........Montreal in the summer might be the best party city in North America.

octopussy......right on st catherine street i believe......highly recommended. Great message from a beautiful naked women and of course a happy ending of some sort.

Great stuff guys, thanks. So the strip clubs seem top notch, which is important no doubt. So how long is this St. Catherine's Street? Seems like it has alot going on. How is the overall bar scene? Are they all clubs or are there some low key regular type bars? And Benny, thnx for the massage parlor tip. Will definitely be hitting that up.

I 100% agree with this.  Had my bachelor party up there last April.  Lots of good places on St. Catherines, but this was our favorite.

For breakfast, I wholeheartedly recommend a little place called Les Princeses.  About 5-10 minute drive away from St. Catherines area, but definitely worth the trip.  We stumbled on it, and ended up going there each morning we were there.  Nothing like a good, cheap breakfast served by hot half-naked chicks

not only the strip clubs, but just the women in general are fuckin unreal....smokin chicks everywhere, give your neck a good stretch before goin out, seems like a different fuckin planet

gfinger- if you don't have a good time at a bachelor party in Montreal, you must have recently suffered from a penis removal surgery. Like everyone said, the strip joints are top notch. Club Super Sexe, Chez Pare, Teasers are excellent strip joints. If you see a sign out front that says Dances Contacte, that means they have contact lap dances. They are dirt cheap. I think they around $10 Canadian a dance. You can get chicks to eat each other out for $20/dance.I haven't been there in many years, but used to go all the time pre-marriage and pre-children. I went to the F1 race there 3 times, and went probably another 5 times.
 
Crescent St. Ste-Catherine, St. Laurent are good for clubs and bars. Whatever you like is there- night clubs, pubs, lounges etc. Ask the locals. I don't know what their names are anymore. Their are excellent restaurants everywhere: Italian, Greek, Chinese, Steakhouses whatever.
 
The casino is o.k. It is nice to look at, but nothing special about the games or odds. Worth a look.
 
Like spreadmover said, the girls there are fucking unreal looking. It's really weird. You may file for Canadian citizenship after seeing these girls. Have a good time.

Awesome stuff banans, thnx. Yeah from what I'm hearing, it sounds like this will be a great time no doubt. As far as the casino goes, I'm not looking for anything grand there, just as long as there is one, in case we wanna do some gaming one night. We are there for 4 nights, so taking a break from the bars and strippers, we might as well hit up a boat one night. I assume that mid-August is probably a good time to go too, since the weather should be pretty nice.
