I agree with this. I just heard some lady talking on the radio how proud she is that the first black man has been elected president. No mention of being white. I don't get it either.
Now if Flavor Flav was elected we could say the first black man elected to president.

It is sad but true... the media portrays Obama as being 100% African American. Though I did not vote for Obama I wish him nothing but the best and great success in his presidency. Hopefully he is everything people hope for him to be

i was sitting at AKBARS about the path station and under the world trade center when i learned bush was the president back in 2000.....i dont care if he's half martian. he's gonna need a 20yr term to clean up this mess

Sure it won't be an immediate instant change, but things should slowly begin getting better and changing if Obama's promises go according to plan.
