SATURDAY OCTOBER 6TH COLLEGE FOOTBALL

This is about a true inside story.

Im 55 now so this was many years ago but my sister and best friend and their boy friends go to Atlanta for the weekend to see the Braves play the Dodgers baseball.

They are staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and at the hotel bar they meet a bunch of the wives of the Dodgers and end up being good friends with that whole group and natuturally get invited to sit in the wives section the next day during the game and all that Blah,blah, so they go out dinking with the players and their wives that night to all the hot bars and end up at a big Dodger Player Party about 3 in the morning.

Well my sister and her friends know old Buddy is a big fan of Baseball so they call me at 3:00 in the morning partying and raising hell because they want this famous pitcher to say hello to me and prove they were partying with the Dodgers wives.You know they think I’m going to get a big kick out of talking to a famous pitcher.

Well he gets on the phone and says some blah,blah, and then gives the phone back to my sister and I tell her  Damn that guy sounded f**ked up which she tells me yea he has been partying hard all night. That’s right boys you see the deal getting ready to happen.

The guy on the phone that talked to me high as hell(No Im not going to post his name) is the starting pitcher for the next day

They didn’t have offshore then but I capped every book that would take action from me the next day and of course he was shelled by the 3rd inning and the Dodgers ended up losing something like 9-2 .

That is a true inside story.
