Let me clarify for my friend who did not explain his point too well. Trends are useful for the astute sports gambler. What most people consider as trends (basically 99% of what you hear as "trends" on this forum as well as this thread), are meaningless statistical anomolies.
Trends take root and have statistical meaning over many years if not decades. Anything citing less than 100's of occurrances are moronic observations that are better faded than regarded as a trend.

my friend fantasticplays, my plays are not just base on trends... it's base on, quarter back, offense stats, defensive stats, injuries, team politics, emotion of the team, weathers, odds, movements of lines, consensus and game plans...
and what is your do you look at? i would like to learn, if you have something new that you follow on...

redlogo, I think you also need to take into account who Marshall has played so far compared to Memphis...Marshall's schedule has been tougher...playing the likes of West Virginia, Miami FL and Cincy.

I agree as well. Our current business and manufacturing models in all of our facilities worldwide now use forecasting software based on trends from previous years.
