#1 Posted: 2/7/2013 8:33:23 PM Wow ...
Hugh Freeze and Co. racked up a Fantastic Recruiting class
I Jumped on the Ole Miss Bandwagon before the Bama game and started paying closer attention ...Backing them ATS almost weekly , including my Largest Bowl Wager in the easy winner vs PITT..
Freeze really turned things around in such a short time .
( wonder of Ole Miss is paying players like most of the SEC )
Hoping for a Season win total of 6.5/7
Anyway the Rebels can Win the East ???

To answer your question, Ole Miss plays in the West yes the West ....mistake
I would want 20-1 odds or better and even still you would be better taking them as a HUGE ML dogs vs LSU and Bama ...
12th last year , and Top 6 this season
I just can't believe the hype for Nat. Signing day ... seems way over blown ... These Kids must walk in feeling like Big Men on campus and then realize nothing will be handed to them( other than some $$)

#6 Posted: 2/15/2013 12:19:02 PM I road Ole Miss the last half of the season & they were my biggest bowl game as well. I love Hugh Freeze & think hes turning things around. I dont think they will be "great" or win the SEC, but they should be fun to watch & bet on as Dogs for a while to come. |

#8 Posted: 2/17/2013 1:05:30 PM They return almost everyone on offense and defense. I will call for 8-4, but very little chance at winning the SEC or going to a BCS game. I think they probably beat one team out of LSU, Bama, A&M, and Texas. They probably lose 1 of their other games, vs Vandy or Miss St or an upset.

Guessing you would rather watch College Basketball
where
the 35 second shot is a complete waste of your Life ... Passing the ball around the 3 point line and dribbling with the head down ....
Players already think their in the NBA , Although 99.8% will be playing at YMCA near you in the next 2-3 years
has what ?? Like 3+ meaningless tournaments at the end of the season .. CBS-CBA-NIT or whatever

How many games on the average college football weekend mean something? By meaning something I mean has an impact on the national title. Like 4. Once you lose, your games are essentially meaningless. Not sure how that relates to such a "meaningful" regular season. Besides im pretty sure coll football players already think they are in the nfl as well. No difference. Sport is a joke. Nothing to play for whatsoever |

all the games are HUGE ... everyone wants to win a conference championship and or go to a Bowl game .. when you only play 12 games ... playing one more is very important , especially when it might be your last ...
switching to college hoops , who cares when Syracuse opens the season playing 16 straight at Home vs Buffalo A&M, Ithaca Beer St, and Albany GED.... |

For baseball theres a lot of teams I like. If your talking about winning it all I feel the giants still get no respect. Like +1700 to repeat and the jays are +900 or whatever. San fran isn't even favored to win the west. I think the Phillies bounce back and compete in the east. Im a yankee fan but am not very confident. That being said they are still coming off a 95 win and divison title. The orioles had a lot of success in late inning situations last year so we will see if they can keep it up. Love buck though
Now, as for bball/football , no I don't care about Syracuse vs Albany in nov. Im a cuse fan by the way. However I could care less about any bowl not for the natl title . To me, games only matter if you have any shot in any way to win a national title. In basketball, although theres a million games you are still playing your way to either a)improve your seeding for march or b) just to get into the tourney. That makes them important to me. Example the other night was Arizona st at Colorado. Not a huge game and neither is final 4 material but it was a big game for 2 bubble teams. If your in the final tourney, your relevant. In football, as the year goes on essentially theres only a couple games per weekend that matter. What does a matchup between (just an example) 8-2 Oklahoma vs 8-2 Missouri mean? Sounds like a good game between 2 teams with solid records and it is but in reality it means NOTHING. I mean you can be unbeaten and your games mean nothing. Bowl season, taking away gambling purposes, is utterly awful. Its comical how useless it is. I do agree with you however that the one and done hurts the PRODUCT on the court in bball. Im not saying the product on the field is bad in football, but the system negates it |

Like those Phillies to bounce back as well.. IMNHO them or the Braves win the EAST...
Nats come in overrated this season ...Don't see it being easy this year ...,after I was riding them at long Futures odds last preseason
Yankees did win 95, but the Division looks even tougher this season ... I wanna Pull for the jays , but their bandwagon is too full .. Rays are my Play in the AL EAST....
We will just have to disagree about College football and Hoops ....Brother
I Love Basketball ..still play it 3-5 times a week ... But I think the Talent , team IQ and game is at a all time low |

think they will be good , but the Bulllseye will be on them this year .. not sure how they handle the pressure .. Braves are 87.5 Phillies are 84 and the Nats are 92 ... of the 3 I would feel safest with the Nats Under |
