Wash Huskies came thru easy for me but darnit I wanted that ML. Still a winner so lets move on to Honolulu. GL everyone 
SMU + 12.5 (2*) Everyone capping strictly on paper loves this one. Fresno doesn't even need to show up to win by 30 in a Blowout. Why not? They've won their last 5 by an avg of 26 pts. against some pretty tuff teams and SMU backed into a Bowl with a 6-6 season. 10-1 ATS. Superior running game. Superior passing game. Better Defense. I love it.
To those cappers that keep such data, check it and see how teams that finish a season 4-0 SU and 4-0 ATS fare in Bowl Games with a 30 day layoff. Mind boggling. I know, that stuff doesn't matter. Then look and see how Pre-Jan (aka S#H*I^T Bowls) favs of 7+ fare after scoring 48+ in FINAL 2 Games. More mind boggling. But I know, that doesn't matter either.
No one knows Aloha Stadium like June Jones. He knows how to get ready for this one and knows every distraction the Big Island brings. He has coached 75 games in this Stadium and ran the table his Final Season 2007. He was so loved there they begged him to run for Governor. In 2009 he brought SMU to this Bowl and (as 12 pt dogs) ran roughshod over Nevada 45-10. Last year he Bowl'ed vs a superior Pitt team and as 4 pt dog won 28-6. I know that stuff doesn't matter either.
This year's team did one thing. They beat the teams they were supposed to beat. And in the Conf Chmpship Game they stole one. They hung tough vs a decent TCU team and got blown out by Baylor and A&M. But they put up 72 pts against a 5-7 Houston team that only allowed 37 pts at UCLA. I will take 12 pts anytime with a team that lights the scoreboard 72 clicks. Their QB threw 2 TD passes in 2010 Natl Champ vs Alabama after Colt McCoy went down. He's thrown 14 TD passes (NO INT's last 5 games) and rushed for 7. Cant see him being too intimidated here. And of interest, if you don't want to watch the whole game....SMU is 14-0 (last 2 seasons) when they score 1st and 0-13 when they don't!
Fresno is Fresno. Tremendous talent and a tremendous year. I know Pat Hill is gone. But I also have to look at a Bowl history thats underachieved year after year. Missed Bowl'ing last year, but in 2010 as 1.5 fav over N ILL they got smoked 40-17. Embarassed. In 2009 as a 10 pt fav over Wyoming they got waxed 35-28. Embarassed. And in '08 as 2 pt fav over COLO ST they choke 40-35. Superior talent every year. Last 3 Bowls...0-3 SU, 0-3 ATS.
I could be completely wrong and Fresno may waltz here. I'm not going to buy into the "on-paper" Game. Will expect a bit of Deja-Vu and just watch and hope he can pull a little off a little of his Hawaiian magic. And let Fresno find a way to lose. As June said (and signed) as he ended his final Pre-game new conference, as he always did when he ended all those Hawaii Rainbow Warrior ones...

Mice, I will roll with SMU also. Just have a hunch they will cover and might possibly win outright. So many variables when it comes to when gambling. Yea, just about every stat angle favors Fresno, but this is the last game for both teams, and anything can happen, and I expect SMU will show up.
