#1 Posted: 12/14/2012 4:41:41 PM Write-up for other Sat Bowl in its own thread. I try to give a bit of logic on my picks. I'm wrong alot. feel free to bash but at least give a little more ammo  than the average 1st grader can come up with. GL everyone with your Games 
TOLEDO + 10.5 (2*)
UT/UT St UNDER 58.5
Lot of play for Aggies here, deservedly so. Best season in school history and 9-1-1 vs the points. Nosed by 2 at Camp Randall and by 3 BYU (TOTAL POINTS SCORED by both teams in BOTH games only 39). They came into this Bowl last year and jumped out to 9-0 lead and led by 13 in 3rd but lost in the last 10 seconds against an OU team with nowhere near the firepower they'll get here. OU had no speed, Rockets do. All 3 UT losses by 7 pts (one in OT) to Bowl teams and beat Bowl'ing Cinci. Rockets were 6-0 ats last 6 as dogs. Note the "weak" MAC won and covered 3 of 4 Bowl games last year, and 7 teams Bowling this year. WAC--2? Note the records of NewMexSt, San Antone, and Idaho. And MAC is weak?
Rockets get back their QB and top RB Fluellen after missing last game. Strength of schedule? I could care less but alot of cappers swear by it. Check it before you lay a ton of points, up to you? I will take the healthy Bowl dog that has a SIGNIFICANT TO edge and the better special teams.
But mostly like the site of this one. Gametime forecast calling rain and wind chill of 27. I think that strongly favors Rockets and the total. BOTH TEAMS played 3-8 UNDER this season.
Rockets beat AF last yr and all time Bowls 9-3, Aggies 1-4. I'll take the points!

OK WM but i watched Toledo enough to know their really bad on defense, really be surprised if they keep Utah state under 45 points here
