Sides  49 - 55

Totals  31 - 22

Overall  80 - 77

12 - 7 This week. Hater, Haters mad cause I got floor seats at the Lakers. Sitting on 50yd line with the Raiders. Ali told me, I m the greatest. Did I just go Will Smith on Yall? LOL. Get ready boys and girls. This college football world is officially flipped upside down. I want you homers to get ready, Boom is about to rip some fools! You guys ready? Let's Go!!!!

                                                Ten Things We Learned

1. The Alabama Crimson Tide go down to Johnny Football and the Texas A&M Aggies. Tons to say about this game but I think it can be summed up in a few sentences. Alabama got the beneficiary of several calls or non calls in this game. If you guys understand the game of football and didn't see Alabama holding all game then you might want to get your eyes checked. The Alabama secondary was getting away with murder all game. This game ends 29 -24 but make no mistake about it, A&M should have won by a larger margin. So now what? What are we going to do with this " One Loss " SEC squad? I know what EsecPN would like to do. Well, the conversation already started last night. Should a one loss SEC school jump a undefeated N.D, Oregon or Kansas st. What? If you believe that should happen, please lean closer to your computer screen so I can smack the garbage out of you.

2. Florida, Florida, oh my. What is it about this team that you Florida homers cant see? Congratulations on beating the 5th best team in the Sun Belt yesterday, barley. All im asking from you is to admit that this team is the most overrated thing since the Chia pet from the early 90's. You cant score! This offense is the worst offense I have seen since, well, Florida's offense last year. Let me guess, your defense is so good that nothing else matters. LMAO. Here is a fact that is gonna be hard to swallow. When you play FSU in 2 weeks. You will NOT score more than 10 points in that game. NOT!! Florida is about to get a grown man's behind whopping form FSU. Tweet that!!

3. Did anyone see any of that arena football game yesterday between UNC and G.T? That was the craziest thing I have seen all year. Up and down the field like a red bull Oregon offense. Did they punt in that game? Im serious! Did they? The ACC Coastal is the more unpredictable then a Florida offense. This division is literally up for grabs. It seems none want to win it. Miami? G.T? Duke!!!?? Doesnt matter who wins it. FSU is gonna run through them like a wild bull. Here is what we know. If Miami wins out, there in. If Duke wins out, there in. If G.T wins out and Miami looses, there in . Yeah, I know.

4. It's looking more and more like a Nebraska Wisconsin Big Ten Title match. Is it just me or does Wisconsin look like a different team now? This team, which I had high expectations for started the year as bad as any team in the country. But nevertheless, they keep getting better. I think that Wisconsin will win this league and go back to the rose bowl where they can lose yet again. But, if this team gets it going. Watch out! They do have the personal to beat almost any team. It will be interesting to see how this thing plays out in the Big Ten. My Money is on the Badgers tho.

5. I bet Syracuse yesterday based on one simple fact. That fact is, lines in college football always tell a story. For no reason at all should that line have been +2 Syracuse. I bet it with the intentions of just saying hey, it makes no sense, let's make some money. I still love this Louisville team. I think we all seen this coming with this group tho. Every week they looked more and more beatable. The real question about Louisville is when will Charlie Strong leave? Will he leave this year? I dont think he will, but he better cash in while he has Bridgwater. Because these are and will be the best years he will have a Louisville. I will say this, Don't be surprised if he goes to Arkansas this off season.

6. Someone asked me this past week why have I bet against Kansas st the last few weeks yet I talk so highly of King Snyder? Simple. Im a dumb behind. Why would anyone bet against Snyder? Mark it down. I will not bet against them again this year. This guy is just simply amazing. I know you guys have heard me say this about a million times now, but this cat wins with much lesser talent. I know there are Saban lovers in the audience, but you guys are looking through Crimson glasses. If Snyder had his talent, they would never lose. EVER! As a matter of fact everyone of the college coaches should bow down and tell Snyder, WE ARE NOT WORTHY!

7. Im high on Oregon and have been all year. But I will say this. If this team doesnt get it together. Then they will get run over by a Kansas st or a Alabama. Yes this offense is like a freak show. But the last two weeks Oregon's defense has been run threw like a cheap hooker. There defense has been pitiful! Yeah they won big last night but I think you need to read between the lines. That defense is gonna have trouble if they dont step up and learn how to tackle better. How bad has it been? It's been like a Florida offense bad! Well, maybe not that bad, but you get it. Fix it Oregon!! OR it will fix you!

8. We should start a thread called, Who will replace Mr. Orange pants. If you didnt know, now ya know. This guy is gone. So im asking all you Tennessee fans, who should you get? I think its a no brainer, you go after Gary Patterson or Chris Petterson. Will they turn Tennessee back into a very good program? Absolutely! Dont think coaching matters? Go watch Kansas st. Coaching and recruiting and coaching lis the life blood of college football. Has always been that way and will always be that way. Losing the way Tennessee did yesterday was embaraassing to say the least.

9. We need to address this issue. The issue is the BCS standings. I know alot of you homers want to see Alabama back into the championship talk, but here are the facts. Alabama lost at HOME as a 14 point favorite. By rights, they should be OUT. But I know how this system works. They will try to find away to get them back into the conversation. And the question is why? Why should they? Last year when Oklahoma st lost on the ROAD, you guys jumped real quick to say, there out. Well, I want the say group back in here explaining why Alabama should be back into it. Trust me, you better bring a good argument too. None of this WE ARE THE SEC or we need to use the " eye test ". NONE of that! I want actual evidence to prove why Alabama should be even considered again for a NCG. I need a good argument. Guys, losing at HOME as a 14 point favorite will probably trump anything you have.

10. Yesterday was a good step towards me finishing strong. I think I have woke up and found my grove. Finishing strong is very important in this college football game. Not just in gambling, but in all things. I think this week is gonna be a great week for debating and " arguing " as well. I look  forward to all the conversations we all will have. Look guys, some of these debates will get heated.....it's ok. We all think were right. It's just who we all are. Truth is everyone in this forum is alot of like, LO, we just are. I have no ill feeling towards any of you. It's just college football. I hope you all have a great week and I hope all is well in you and your family's lives. It's a great time of year men. I cant wait for the finish. THE BEST IS YET TO COME.

No way does Bama even belong in the conversation about the National Championship. Only and only if two of the undefeated teams lose. Hell i think Georgia will give them all they can handle.LSU exposed the weakness in the Bama secondary last week. The Tide defense isn't remotely as good as it was last year. Period. And I am an SEC homer but one who knows college football and doesn't blindly kiss the SEC's behind!

Florida should have lost- no excuse for the Cajuns(my alma mater by the way) to play for overtime- with 1:45 left the Cajuns get the ball and run it up the middle 3 times in a row happy to play for overtime- then the freakin punt gets blocked and game over- I mean you are a mid-level program looking for respect, you have a top ten ranked team on the ropes and all of the sudden you get conservative- WTF!! Did that idiot of a coach actually think he would succeed in overtime? Just pisses me off so bad- Horrible, horrible coaching by ULL's coach. Why would anyone ever bet on Florida -27 points?

Boom- did you see the Idaho coach kick a FG to cover the spread at the end of that game when his team was down by 40? That is just unbelievable as well- Something tells me the coach had to have bet on his team- there is NO other explanation!

Great read- glad you found your groove!

Boom, give us your top ten.  Based on yesterday, where do you rank Alabama?  With a Kansas State or Notre Dame loss, do you put them back in the title game?  No doubt they lost fair and square yesterday, but do you really think other one-loss teams are better or more deserving?

Agree with this even though I would think 90% of people know Alabama is a better football team than Notre Dame.  However, with the way the polls work, they should be ranked above them.  Being an SEC homer, unless both Notre Dame and Kansas State lose, the one loss SEC champion should not get a shot.

Good to see you acknowledged you're were out of line w the name calling.  You're a decent guy man; just let your knowledge love and passion for CFB speak for itself.  No need for name calling during a good, spirited debate.

Good luck Boom.

Great stuff, as usual Boom.

Since we're being controversial here, let me toss something into the crap pile.

If we had a playoff this year, yesterday's game wouldn't matter.  Alabama would be "in" not matter what.

It's a perfect example of how the playoffs will cheapen the regular season.

[re FSU, I'm not completely convinced that Dumbo Fisher--he who engineered the idiot loss at NCST--won't figure out a game plan that gives the Gayturds a chance]

Get Florida out of there. On a neutral field I wouldnt take them against anyone else you have listed. Other than that I cant argue, except ND really has no business being that high other than having not lost (I know, silly statement). But, thats really all they got. One loss drops them out of the top 10.....There is no team on that list I wouldnt take over ND on a neutral field.....

Nice week Boom...

I didnt fair so well and the haters were glad to tally my final results.....

Boom,   Nice week.  Just want to remake a point I keep making over and over.  This BCS stuff will likely work out on it's own.  This season isn't over by a long shot and the 3 undefeated have some business to take care of. K. St. and Notre Dame don't have to play a conference championship game so advantage there. Looks like So. Cal. has a chance to be a spoiler twice.

Watch out for @K. St. vs. Tx. the last game.  Tx. is trending up. Just saying.

How bad has Tenn. gotten? That friggin bad?  Missouri isn't even decent so giving it up on Tenn's part looks like the reason in that game. Shame on Tenn!

Just to finish out,  Good for Vandy on the road!  Good for UMass on the road! Good for ULaLa on the road!  That SunBelt is bad behind this year.

GL,    Doc

I didn't miss the point....that's why I said "IF" either KSU or Notre Dame lost.  Clearly you think they would be next in line as you've ranked them at #4.  Don't misunderstand me-  I believe a team's resume and what they've done on the field should speak for itself.....BUT....you at least have the common sense to acknowledge they're the most talented and best coached one-loss team out there.  Not an SEC guy myself, but it's hard to disagree with that.

Oregon has the toughest road of these three. USC is in shambles defensively; seems everyone can score on them, and the keystone cops defense vs Oregon put them in the record books as the most ever scored on a USC team. Kiffin is not coming through as a defensive guru. ND however does have it all, and they will roll over all doubters if the SC trend continues.

Ore has to face a VERY tough Stanford team; then Ore St is a rival they have to respect this year for a one game nightmare; then they might get UCLA in the PAC12 Championship (if the Bruins stay on top) who has a former NFL coach that has seen all kinds of spread offenses, and even designed his own. I don't see it because of the defensive let downs...but maybe they get through, with some luck and perserverance. If they do, they win it all.

K-St has made it. Texas is puffed up.

K-St vs ND IMHO, with Bama waiting in the wings should one of these be assassinated.

Agree with number 1 except for ESPN loving the SEC. They Hate the SEC.  They SEC is the best conference because no other conference can match their speed.

Alabama has been an official favorite forever. It's no telling how many games the officials have won for Alabama.

They never get called for holding or pass interference. There we're at least 5 pass interference calls against Alabama yesterday that weren't called. As farbas holding on Alabama. What's that. They haven gone 3 years with only a handful of holding calls. A&M is a better football team than Alabama period.
