It will be a white-out in Lafayette, LA tonight. LA-Lafayette has won 8 straight at home and covered 6 of 7 in this series after losing a close game last season as an 11 point underdog.
But, this season they lost their starting qb, rb, and had 2 starting wr's knocked out last week. The backup qb is inexperienced.
ASU's qb, Ryan Aplin, is a 4th year starter and he lead his team to the conference championship last season. I will go with his leadership over the sophomore for the Cajuns.
Another big factor is 3rd down. ASU has better stats coming in defending and converting 3rd downs!!! Additionally, they are strong defending the pass.
They also have a head coach with a national title as Auburn's OC under Gene Chizik.
All signs point to an ASU upset win even if the Cajuns injured WR's and O-Lineman return tonight from injuries that removed them from the last game.
For a Tuesday night game, I have a pretty strong feeling about this game.
