#10 Posted: 10/21/2012 10:15:55 PM Kentucky's only win this year was Kent State's only loss. Missouri has knocked off a pair of 5-2 teams (AZ State & UCF) but can't beat anybody in the SEC. Tennessee is woeful in conference but manhandled 5-2 NC State. And lest we forget that Michigan and Washington were both beaten by SEC teams by a cumulative score of 82-17 You see why SEC teams get the higher computer rankings Bimbo ? It's called strength of schedule. |

#13 Posted: 10/21/2012 10:18:01 PM I agree with everything you said Boom, except for the Bama v. KState argument. Sorry, we will disagree with that till the cows come home or one of them loses. Michigan=WVU at the very least IMHO. Oklahoma is a solid win, but don't think that gives KState enough weight to jump the defending champs. I wouldn't argue with KState a close second.
But everything else you said is spot on. UGA? That's a name ranking only. Kentucky. nuff said. |

#23 Posted: 10/21/2012 10:30:07 PM Oklahoma State had a far better resume than Alabama did last season and there were very few people who actually believed they deserved to be in the national championship game over Bama. The reason? Bama was simply better. And Georgia, Bama, Florida, and S. Carolina are better than KState. All of them would be favored over KState if they met on a neutral field tomorrow.
